I understand meshing will always be a thing just because of how many items and dinosaurs are in the game. But holy crap, they could at least have someone stay on top of these publicly released exploits in order to keep meshing as inaccessible as possible. I'm also going to try and find the oldest videos possible displaying these exploits and not necessarily the "best" one so as to show how old some of these exploits are. Snow Owl glitch that lets you phase through walls. Been on Youtube for 1 month now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAuEohLp3Eo Flying glitch utilizing tek gauntlets. When patching this one please update the teleport barriers so that the flying animation still gets teleported. There are other flying glitches in the game still that aren't as publicly known. Been on Youtube for nearly 3 months now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQlgpJMV2wY Climbing pick mesh technique with doorframe. Been out for 12 days now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtCMW8GMORM These are the videos I'm aware of and that I know to personally work on official servers as of this post. I know there are even more out there so feel free to share videos of exploits you know are still working on youtube. As for my recommendation on fixing meshing, don't let climbing picks hook onto structures within around 25 units of the terrain and remodel player torpor so the ko'd/logged out animation isn't nearly as ragdolly. Nearly every mesh technique, old and new, rely on shoving your character far enough into the mesh with picks so as to place structures or hook onto another wall inside. Or it relies on knocking your character out and waking up on the other side of the wall. [link] [comments]  | ||

Spent a month building up a city sanctuary skyscraper ledge base with 100 turrets, velons, etc. Logged in to a hole in the center foundation and everything gone. No hole in outer wall at all. GG Arklantis. I'm sure you feel like a real man now. Good luck doing it again. I'll have a chandelier full of heavies waiting under my mesh for you. Hear that devs? Please come devwipe me and finally put an end to this addiction, but I'll never again have that happen. Rather be wiped for fighting against cheaters than sit still while the devs fail to end it. It'll easily be one of the most popular mods on the workshop. It would be neat if the structures and ships were added as well. Bye all breeding pairs (stegos, trikes, velos, therizinos, rexes, quetzals, megathereums, snow owls and argys) that were all lvl 250+ with decent stats. Bye hours of work. It worked fine before, but after this update I just downloaded (i haven't played on my pc in a while) it will only open the splash screen for 2 to 3 seconds then closes right away. We run an unofficial server with game settings as close to Official as we can. We tamed a Lvl90 and 140 within a few days of each other. When we checked the stats out post tame and they are almost identical. As the title alludes, are people seeing better stats than us or are we just getting gimps thus far? [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 21 Jan 2019 07:15 AM PST There's something very entertaining to me about using things that probably shouldn't be used to fight bosses. i play on a server where the level cap is a little bit higher than usual, so overall most dinos should be a little more viable. ever since i saw that rhinos are actually a viable option for the ragnarok fight, I've been wondering if any other dinos would be usable under the same conditions. i might even test using some different dinos in singleplayer if no one has done it yet. | Posted: 21 Jan 2019 06:08 AM PST I'm know how much fucking hate I'm going to get for this post so I'm not going to be replying to any comments and I'm on my phone so beware of typos but I just need to say. Fuck Ark. I just wasted 20 fucking hours of my life, first I start taking damage in the waste land, then because I am on a Dino my screenshots the go red and don't see that I'm taking damage until I'm nearly dead, then I can't get back in time because you can't make your flyers faster and I have to spend half an hour flying to the sanctuary in which time I die, then I just lost 90% of my work so far because I was carrying it, then I take.my Pteranodon down to get my body, I don't have any spare armour because i had all my stuff with me, I get down to my body but then a pack of raptors lvl 120-150 attacks me killing me and my Pteranodon no I have no option to take my anky down as it has the highest health, then a bronto fighting something knocks me off a cliff into the ravine, I jump off my anky before I got the ground so it lives, but then I went flying and died, so then I had to go on foot, and get my anky, find each of my bodies which are scattered across the map so I could get the beacon to show up at my first, but before I do that I need to take my anky back so I can use my owl, then I get them back, and the game crashes so I have to do that all over again, but this time my owl decided to be on passive when it should have been on neutral, and it's killed, so I have to navigate the entire ravine on my anky, finding my bodies so the beacon goes to the latest one, and by the time I get to mt first body it's decayed and I basically have lost 15 hours of work, plus 5 hours of running around trying to get my gear back. Fuck this game, wildcard needs to fix it up so I don't have to waste time with this shit, it isn't fun it's fucking infuriating, time wasting, boring and pisses you off so much, especially when you are going through stuff irl and you try to escape and it ends up making it a thousands time worse by wasting 20 hours of your life. Does anyone know a mod or setting that would allow me to override this, and always loot everything from a dead dino when my tame "eats" it? I'm setting up a cluster of ark for me and a few friends and I'm wanting to increase/set to unlimited the limit of storage for items and dinos in the obelisk, is there a way to do this or not i know how to adjust the timer to make it basically infinite (a year basically) but i can't find anything to increase the items and dinos storage limit.
