| Please remove the ability to pin code gates/doors on Offline raid protection servers. Posted: 22 Jan 2019 06:24 AM PST This gets abused way too much, example... Alternative tribe places a stone wall blocking of a cave or tunnel, place 1 Bh gate then pincode it. they log off. This wall is now offline and can't be destroyed. he then switches to his main account, now his main tribe build thier full base in that tunnel/cave and they can all use that gate because they know the pincode, all they have to do is log in with their Alt once every 12 days to stop the auto decay. | Posted: 22 Jan 2019 07:37 AM PST I was introducing my friend to ark, so I brought him into my singleplayer world on Rag. We live in a giant cave with a skylight at the top, which we go through to get trees. The other entrance is across a land bridge. I bring him in and the day goes a follows: Friend drowns and dies, friend drowns again and dies, friend gets attacked by compys, friend falls off the land bridge and dies, friend falls off the land bridge in the same spot and dies, friend finds a dilo egg, friend gets eaten by a dilo, friend finds an argentavis, friend is friendly with argentavis, friend is killed by argentavis, friend enjoys new friend argentavis (I tamed it for him), friend makes 15 pickaxes, friend throws 14 pickaxes in a pond, friend goes to find wood on new friend argentavis, friend punches air next to a tree for 5 minutes before I find him, friend explores the mysterious depths of the inventory and engram tree, friend gets confused and makes 27 torches, I take friend out exploring, friend races me to green obelisk which is next to our cave, friend is upset when obelisk is useless for now, we race back to base, friend gets lost, friend was flying circles under me for a solid minute, I get offline, friend is excited to play more. They're bloody fun to ride around, teleport and climb up the side of buildings and their harvest ability for lampposts, etc. is great. I have to say, I'm loving Extinction. [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 22 Jan 2019 06:54 AM PST as most people on pvp servers know manas ice breath is still broken and making pvp unplayable. does wild card intend to do anything about it at all ? or are we suppose to use the dino leash glitch to make game playable on pvp servers ? | Arks support case system is a joke Posted: 22 Jan 2019 06:45 AM PST I had an incident where a Dino died due to a glitch so naturally I decided to put in a support ticket with video evidence to see if anything could be done. Almost 2 weeks have past without a single response, I honestly don't understand why you would consider a ticket support system if you don't actually respond to anyone, even if they responded with nothing could be done I would be fine with that but blatantly ignoring tickets is just stupid and the ridiculous thing is they have been doing this for ages now. On the games release they were actually very helpful but at some point they stopped caring, it's a shame. [link] [comments]  | ||

| [Xbox] [Extinction Official] 50-75% chance of game becoming unresponsive when opening a text input Posted: 21 Jan 2019 09:05 PM PST Title. I can make the game become unresponsive (does not respond to controller input, period) with about a 50-75% reliability of it happening. I will launch ark fresh, log into my extinction official server and open chat, or do an inventory search, or something else involving the on-screen keyboard appearing. I enter the text I wish to transmit (for chat/search/name/etc) then I submit it. At this time the game becomes unresponsive forcing a full game restart. So, I'll press the Xbox button, scroll down to select Ark, press pause and scroll to Quit game. At this time, I try to relaunch the game but nothing will happen for 2 to 3 minutes. If I repeat the previous paragraph while the game is operating normally, it will immediately restart when I try, after quitting the game thru the Xbox menus. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 21 Jan 2019 06:33 PM PST So I'm very new to ark, and not a very good player at all. I started off with a new save, at the center with primal plus. I built myself a little house and garden near the beach, and build a little wooden pen with 2 lystrosaurus and 2 dodos. When I was building my house, I kept getting pushed around by triceratops. It's like they can sense when I'm building, and purposefully pester me. I was down near the beach, trying to kill one of those seagulls that keeps bothering me. All of a sudden I get a notification that all 4 of my Dino's have been killed by a triceratops. I run back to my house, and there's a freaking trike inside of the pen. I don't know how it got in, but it's stuck there now and killed my dinos. I can't wait to build some spike traps. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Genesis Modmap issues/Help needed Posted: 21 Jan 2019 05:25 PM PST Not much info out there for this issue but our usual server is hosting the genesis map but everytime I try to load in, it closes an restarts my client. I have no issue with other maps and others have been able to log in as far as I know. Asking reddit in hopes to find an answer! I have so far reinstalled the map, Tried to host a sp game(same result). an verified files. Any help is greatly appreciated thanks! [link] [comments]  | ||
