Any suggestions for being offline for a week or so? Posted: 25 Feb 2019 11:32 AM PST Sending my Switch off for repairs tomorrow. Official PVP server. Very low population. No serious threats from regulars. Haven't seen a single other-server raider yet. Good small tribe in our 80s. I've got behemoth and Dino gates at my main metal base to keep curious noobs out. And a fair amount of turrets for any ill-planned raider. Several tiny metal bases across the map too. I was thinking of storing all my tames at my best defended base. Fill them to the brim with jerky and berry stacks with more in the fridge so my tribe mates could warp in and refill. I understand there's nothing anyone can do to completely prevent clever and persistent offline raiders. But generally speaking is there anything else I should do before I send this off for a week or so? [link] [comments] | ||

Does that mean, that Ragnarok and Center wont get the new engrams and everything has to be unlocked on the island? Furthermore, are there any plans to rework the bosses on rag/center to be in line with the island? The required levels for alpha are 90 instead 100 as on the island, on rag you dont need the brute artefact, despite being collectable, no theri claws, no giga hearts, etc. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 24 Feb 2019 07:08 PM PST Seriously? there shouldn't be a dino in the game which can paralyze your tame and leave you there dying and re spawning desperately trying to do something to save it but only watching your dino just die slowly. Its so retarded, I know the devs have their other priorities and what not but seriously at least add some chance of escape for your dino or make cnadarias slow it down or something, these fuckers seriously ruined my fun in ark today and have many times, and before you tell me to shoot them or what not, I just got kicked from my tribe, had no crossbow on me or tribe members to help. You shouldn't need specific gear to escape a dino when you're on an imprinted theri with a shit ton of melee and health and a good saddle. [link] [comments] | ||

I have the eggs on ceilings, and under the ceilings are 4x4 air conditioners (is this the best setup tho or lines of 4 are better?) when dinos hatches they might still sink into the AC, and sometimes even foundation (these be wyverns) I did look a little higher when tossing out eggs so it will not clip into the ceiling's mesh, but I think I could do better for that are there any furnishing that I can walk on and also causes things to float on them? I think a bed helps 1 baby not to get stuck ac works for 5 walls up and below [link] [comments] | ||
Posted: 24 Feb 2019 01:56 PM PST I've hosted an ark private server several times over the years. I like the game, but sometimes hit reg can be a little funky. Even as a client connecting to the server on my own PC with a max of like 9ms latency I still hitreg issues. Is there anything I can do to hopefully make this better? In the past I've tried to modify server settings to get a 60 tick rate, but I'm not sure if this has actually helped. I'm also curious if anyone knows of any mods or anything like that that could potentially fix things. [link] [comments] | ||

Will it be easy for me to transfer in a Dino and some items, and then transfer myself and the Mana back out afterwards? Or is it like Abberarion where transferring things in and out is a nightmare?
