Posted: 08 Apr 2019 05:17 AM PDT Been playing on official Small tribe - Center server for a couple of weeks and Obelisk terminals aren't working, you can't access them and you run straight through it like they aren't even there. Locals who have been playing there for while tell me all Obelisks have had a decay timer and they decayed away. Has been like this for +- 6 months. Since When can Obi's decay??? | Is Structures Plus still worth it after Homestead? Posted: 08 Apr 2019 10:26 AM PDT I stopped using Structures Plus after the homestead update because it was supposed to bring in many of its features. While the updates are certainly nice, I found myself considering adding the mod again because there's so much I miss... transfer guns, underwater bases, glass walls etc. Anyone else in the same boat as me? | Question about changing crafting ingredients Posted: 08 Apr 2019 10:58 AM PDT Hey guys, I was trying to mess with changing the crafting ingredients of certain items, namely the fish basket to get rid of the fungal wood requirement to be used on Island maps. However, I have a couple questions about it. I know that to do so I use the "ConfigOverrideItemCraftingCosts" server settings in GUS.ini (is that right so far?), but I'm not sure what to do next: how to format it, what formatting I use to mention the engrams and resources, etc. I've tried looking it up online but it's all a bit convoluted to me still. Can anyone help me out or point me to a good resource to learn how to use this server setting? Thank you for any help! [link] [comments]  | ||
| Bug on switch with recipies and engram page Posted: 08 Apr 2019 10:23 AM PDT I play on switch. I recently got the game(1-2 days ago) , and have only played single player(no local or online). I have managed to work my way to level 24, and have gotten a decent amount of engrams. However, I turned on my switch today and despite the game claiming I was level 24, I didn't have any engrams above around level 16 besides the wood chair, and I lost a few below that too, including a few that shouldn't be possible (I lost the Narcotic recipe, but not the tranq arrow). I basically lost around 10 levels of engram points that I don't know how to get back. Further leveling wouldn't help, as I would still be down the points. Some recipies, like the tranq arrow, when I go to the engram page say that they aren't "bought", but the recipe is still in my crafting. Really the biggest problem (besides the lost engram points) is that I can no longer craft narcotic and therefore can't really tame dinos as efficiently. (I would rather not use a slingshot, but I may have to). Any help on this would be very much appreciated. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Multiple Single Player World? By renaming the map folder? Posted: 08 Apr 2019 01:37 AM PDT Hello guys, I am wondering how I would make a new single player world without deleting old one. I think this would be a great feature to be supported by game itself, but I don't think it is supported right now. I think the main reason would be like having a "creative/cheat" world to test before actually trying it on SP. I am thinking of changing the folder name from " ShooterGame\Saved\SavedArksLocal" to " ShooterGame\Saved\SavedArksLocal2" to keep the old world and hopefully game will create a new map. Then when I want to go back to old map, I will just change the name of the folder again. Do you think this will work? [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 08 Apr 2019 05:16 AM PDT Caves tend to be more or less unraidable locations. It's been an issue really ever since heavies and buffed tek turrets were added. But with the Extinction dlc bringing cryopods and titans, more and more tribes are choosing to relocate into caves. I feel like the easiest balancing is just to nerf the amount of damage a turret does while in a 6x area. As well as make platform structures ignore the damage modifier so racer boxes aren't easily rocketed. I realise this won't fix every broken base location. Some places like Aberration red surface entrance aren't even 6x damage to begin with. And others like Center North Snow are just built in a way that's hard to deal with. But it would greatly limit the number of broken locations for a start. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Gear & saddles reverting to only image Posted: 07 Apr 2019 08:30 PM PDT I remember this bug was around a long time ago, but it was fixed, and now it's back. Weps and tools in ur hotbar and saddles on a dino turn to image only (looks like a prim BP) but if u remove / replace them they just disappear. I've tried logging on and off, verifying files, etc - anyone have any idea how to fix this or if WC have mentioned if they have it in their sights to fix? Pretty cheesed off as I lost my best pick & hatchet and a rex saddle this way today :( [link] [comments]  | ||

| Getting error 0xc000012f followed my Blue screen Posted: 07 Apr 2019 07:47 PM PDT Hey folks, hopefully someone can help me out. I played ark just fine yesterday and when I went to boot up my comp today I was met with a 0xc000012f error for RealTek Audio and again with shootergame.exe when I tired to launch Ark. Then it kicks the BSOD. I'm running it on an Alienware 17 R4 with a GTX 1070 and 16 gigs of ram. Haven't had any issues until today. [link] [comments]  | ||

| I need some assistance with S+ wall snapping. (Sloped Wall) Posted: 07 Apr 2019 06:04 PM PDT I have this situation going on with my greenhouse I'm trying to build. I have a sloped wall I'm trying to place here, but for some reason, it's not leveling out with the side piece and is going too far down as seen in the picture. I've tried placing thatch and stone sloped walls but they align the same way. I've also tried switching the facing direction of the walls to see if that would make a difference, but it doesn't. Is there any way to get these kind of pieces to align better? Edit: I solved the issue. I attached a flat ceiling to each sloped roof, then placed the sloped wall and it snapped perfectly.
