| Posted: 17 Jun 2019 08:54 AM PDT In my time spent checking out Ark I've begun to enjoy the game more. After some hiccups with official servers I ended up finding a 2xEverything server because I was really struggling to gather wood for a base and being new this helps with the learning curve. While I definitely enjoy a purist server with no multipliers I gave myself some leeway for this new (to me) survival game. I've gotten to lvl 60, built a full stone base and built a few necessities (storage, preservation box, forge and smithy). Unfortunately I've not been able to keep any of my dinos alive for more than an hour; again part of the learning curve and understanding the habits to apply to them to keep them and myself alive. I've learned how to manage my fights with dilos and diplos but the Therizinosaurus are a whole other creature that continuously kills me, my dinos and destroys my bases. I've hung back in unlocking equipment, tools and base components and just began to harvest metal so that I can understand how things work and what I actually need to survive. I keep trying to figure out how to fish with the fishing rod but I'm lost on bait unfortunately. I'm slowly exploring further into the island away from the ocean and rivers and so far I'm having a good time. 👍🏻 [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 16 Jun 2019 06:53 PM PDT Okay so I some help. On ragnarok I'm set on my first base being in the highlands. I've found the perfect spot that has water and flat land and horses for me to tame. Only problem is that the stream is just shallow enough that I can't submerge myself it but I feel like I should be gaining water by standing in it. But it seems the only way my player will gain water is when I'm fully submerged in water. Any way to fix this? Will I be able to film up water containers in the stream even though I can't drink from it? Will I be able to run a pipe from it at the very least? [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 16 Jun 2019 09:47 PM PDT Im trying to Increase weight per level up on characters. I can't for the life of me figure it out. When in expert mode I have no option for it, when i do it in standard settings it doesnt transfer over when i switch back to expert mode. How do I change the player stats in expert mode? | Posted: 16 Jun 2019 12:23 PM PDT I'm a solo pvp player and Ive finally reached the point to attempt a boss. I've got plenty of wyverns and bred rexes but I dont have a clue how to take on the easy boss as a solo and what stats I would need on my dinos as a minimum to comfortably take the boss on and how many dinos?
