| Am I the only sucker in ark that can't bring himself to raid or attack other players? Posted: 21 Jun 2019 11:02 AM PDT I grew up with playing PvP. I played Asherons Call: Darktide server exclusively for almost a decade, which was the harshest, best PvP game ever imo. We had a term in that game. PK or Anti. Player Killer or Anti Player Killer. Even then as a kid I was always a Anti. In Ark, I'm the same. No matter how many times I get killed, get my passive tamed killed I just can't bring myself to attack people unprovoked. As much as I want to go on a rampage and get pissed, when I see someone I always back out and just can't do it. I always end up just being on the defensive or attempt to be a referee or goalie for other players. Which is fucking stupid in this game as I'm always taking one step forward and being pushed two steps back due to loosing passive tames as people kill me them my tamed. Course I do find it richly rewarding when I do reach different milestones or I'm able to persevere dispute being wiped and raided. Anyone else out there that just can't bring themselves to being the bad guys? [link] [comments]  | ||

| can we talk about how beautiful valguero is? Posted: 20 Jun 2019 10:28 PM PDT I've never played the map before or even heard of it, so I didn't know what to expect. Lo and behold, the map drops, and I think this is by far the most gorgeous map I've seen thus far. Aberration is still my favorite map for its themes and aesthetic, and while I feel like Extinction had a lot of missed potential, I still think its my 2nd favorite map. But Valguero...I'm just blown away. Especially the White Cliffs region. The only stickler is that while I understand the reason why they omitted them, I'm a little disappointed that Reapers, Basilisks and Rock Drakes are a no go, at least for now. Seriously, to the modders and Wild Card devs that ended up engineering this beauty of a map: you done good. [link] [comments]  | ||

| IMPORTANT PSA If you are using the Ark Additions mod on Valguero: Posted: 21 Jun 2019 05:20 AM PDT When you restart your server, all of you Valguaro Deinonychus will be replaced with level one Ark Additions Deinonychus. Remember to cryo your Deinonychus when not using them. All eggs and saddles will also be replaced. AFAIK the mod author is working on this and will be fixed, so be aware until then . | Can you build in the Abberation and underwater sea entrances on Valguero? Posted: 20 Jun 2019 11:30 PM PDT I play on official offline raid protection and tribes like to use alt accounts to build offline damage prevented structures blocking things like this off. | Our item Placement bug is getting worse Posted: 20 Jun 2019 05:49 PM PDT I posted a while ago about not being able to place stairs. At the time it was only stairs. But now it's getting worse. So far, we haven't had any issues with basically stuff like foundations, ceilings, walls, etc., and we are building a new base on a new map, so we've placed tons of those. Crafting structures have all placed fine, too. However, we still can't place stairs, so far I haven't gotten a tek container to place, and even doing storage boxes and blueprints was glitchy. For some reason if I used the ladder trick to align myself before placing I couldn't place. If I eyeballed it it was hit or miss. And to be clear, everything shows up in green and is over foundations or ceilings supported by columns. [link] [comments]  | ||

(not added to https://ark.gamepedia.com/Spawn_Entries yet). I know the line of code would look something like this ConfigAddNPCSpawnEntriesContainer=( NPCSpawnEntriesContainerClassString="(spawn entry)", NPCSpawnEntries=((AnEntryName="SnowOwlSpawner", EntryWeight=1.0, NPCsToSpawnStrings=("Owl_Character_BP_C"))), NPCSpawnLimits=((NPCClassString="Owl_Character_BP_C", MaxPercentageOfDesiredNumToAllow=1.00)) ) If anybody has information on what the spawn entries are or how i can find out it would help a lot.
