Any Mods For Single player NPCs? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 08:14 AM PDT I play Co Op, just 2 players. I am considering Ark but it seems like the Single player is rather empty of enemy AI. Watching videos on YouTube seems like the Dino AI do not attack bases. So, I was here hoping that perhaps the old Bush People mod might have a replacement by now? I would love to play the game if I was able to play against NPC enemies. Especially if they build and harvest like in Bush People before it was discontinued. Posted: 27 Jun 2019 11:56 AM PDT Ok, I've decided to see if they improved performance and fps issues I had in the past, and decided to install this game again on my PC, keep in mind, I don't even have 100$ to improve it, here's my specs I7 4790K stock speed 4,0GHZ 16GB DDR3 Gigabyte GTX 770 OC WF3 4GB edition Game installed on a SSD Agility 3 Windows 10 64 bits ​ Anyone can tell me if I'm wasting my time and space installing this game again or there was great improvements in terms of performance. Any good tutorial series to watch on youtube (ideally not livestreams of 4h long) knowing I'll play solo cause I hate PVP and past experiences proved me that even on PVE servers life can be ruined by a bunch of idiots. ​ Any mods that could improve performance, fps and play ability for the horrible build mode that I remember for a complete noob are also welcome to be suggested. submitted by /u/MCDodge34 [link] [comments]

Posted: 27 Jun 2019 11:07 AM PDT According to the wiki (which we all know can be wrong sometimes) the charge battery item/blueprint can be found in yellow or red cave drops. So I popped over a hundred drops so far and haven't found one yet. Then I was told by a friend that he found his blueprint in a blue drop, as well as another person on that ab server. I Have a Dream (Ark Wishes) Posted: 27 Jun 2019 09:23 AM PDT I recently got into ark again with the new map, and I'm having a blast. I'm loving the offline raid protection mechanic, although I could see some abuse for the higher level clans with it, it's really making me feel like I have a chance now. Anyways I had some thoughts about how I would change ark and thought I'd share them. Remove movement speed stats for players. People are running around faster than a raptor and it looks terrible, goes bad with the lag of the game, and makes it so they no longer have any fear of dinos. The game overall feels too fast. I come from Escape from Tarkov where movement is realistic and it just adds so much more immersion to the game. It would also increase value of early level tames that are just meant for speed that people often skip right over. Make it harder to raid. It's way too easy to raid, the raiding supplies are so easy and fast to make and they give you access to destroy countless hours of peoples efforts from taming and other things. Overhaul the UI, again. It is just so ugly. I don't need a notification every time something in my inventory spoils lol. It's too big and bright, kills the immersion that a survival game should definitely have. Flight overhaul for birds? They just feel way too easy to fly, I'd love some physics involved to make it feel like you're actually flying a wild beast. Gliders are pretty fun and don't cause me any lag so it seems possible. I just feel like the game could have so much more immersion, where everything you do feels more like you're in the game doing it. This can be done with better movement mechanics, better UI, and more building options. submitted by /u/Koda_20 [link] [comments]
