| Why is refrigerator closing still so loud??? Posted: 05 Jun 2019 06:30 AM PDT It took Atlas like 2 weeks to quiet down the absurdly loud gates. Meanwhile Arks been out several years and every time I close the Refrigerator the city sends a helicopter to my street from neighbors calling in shots fired... Its so loud that even with game sounds WAY DOWN its still boarder line damaging to your ears with headphones on. Isn't it about time they fix such a simple issue? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 05 Jun 2019 10:43 AM PDT Over the past few years of playing ark one of the parts of the game I've enjoyed the most has been breeding. It's a great mechanic that never runs out of content. The problem with breeding is that it can be hard to schedule because you can't just go out and farm all the meat you need ahead of time unless you have a bunch of fridges or a bunch of Tek troughs. Fridges only have 48 slots and you can't have any Dinos around them if you want to use them as storage. That said, my suggestion is to add a fridge variant into the game which has more slots than a normal fridge. Most other types of storage have a variant that can hold an increased amount of items. For example with item storage you have the option of making small storage boxes, large storage boxes, vaults, and dedicated storage. This was done because even though many tribes are capable of making 4000 storage boxes, nobody wants to spend their time opening up each one to gather their resources. The same goes for fridges. We have the ability to make teleporters. We can fly around and shoot lasers, yet we still use a basic fridge that can only hold 48 slots. A big push recently with Ark has been to come out with new structures that minimize the amount of total structures used in bases (4 high walls, dedicated storage, etc). Providing us with fridges that have more slots would be another step in the right direction. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 04 Jun 2019 06:56 PM PDT Firstly, the filename for the new dossier is "monthly_2019_05/large.torndoss.jpg" monthly implies there will be more torn dossiers in the coming months, 05 could mean the month but this would imply that the dossier was released a few days later than originally intended, i think its more likely to be this creatures number. and in the coming months we will get another 4 or 5 new creatures, this would put the final torn dossier release at about the same time of year the last extinction torn dossier was released secondly, the aberration countdown timer is back up. this is second hand info from a friend, so i cant confirm it 100%. according to him, the aberration countdown website we saw before the trailer was released has been shut down for a considerable amount of time, but is now back up with no timer on it. http://playark.com/a/ this last one is speculation, but on the extinction in the city there was various references to "sentinal prime" apparently a base on the cold side of the earth. with this is mind it seems interesting that the new dossier we can see has.. excessive feathers presumably for keeping warm. Keep in mind, this could just be me looking too hard for stuff that isn't there so i wouldn't get hyped until we get a countdown or a trailer if i was you. | Cant Loot Uncoscious enemy dinos anymore???(official pvp) Posted: 05 Jun 2019 10:56 AM PDT so the problem is simple, i dont like to kill new players/bobs dinos so i always bring narc arrows with me because you never know people may be storing good thing inside their dinos, but recently(past week) every time i knock down a dino i dont get the acess inventory thing and i will only be able to see the server dino has been tamed on, anyone else have the same problem? | How does playing 2 consoles at once work (bought an xbox one x). Posted: 05 Jun 2019 10:52 AM PDT Anyone here upgrade from xbox one to an xbox one x? I can play both at once even though i only bought 1 ark copy if I sign in my main account on the new console first and leave him in the background. All my DLCs work on the new console EXCEPT for scorch earth which prompts me to re-purchase. Anyone familiar with this? Would like to here your experience. Not sure why I can play extinction on new but not scorch, or how i can still play on old console if my xbox live guy signed in on new console :S [link] [comments]  | ||

The dev team should at least give an idea of how these mechanics work so there aren't cases where people are wrongly banned/dev wiped. [link] [comments]  | ||

| What map has the most spawn containers? Please read please help. Posted: 04 Jun 2019 01:53 PM PDT I'm playing a mod (ark eternal) and some dinosaurs won't spawn because their spawn container doesn't exist on certain maps. For example on ragnarok I can't find velonasaur but if I play on the island I find them easily. All because of it's spawn containers. It isn't the mods fault they're not spawning it's just the map. People say crystal isles is "the best" but I'm having issues with some spawns on that map plus it's outdated. I was wondering if it could be due to me playing single player and not on a server. I'm about to buy a server just to take some of the stress off my pc anyway. [link] [comments]  |
