Personally I don't mind that they dont knock players of tames like Gigas, however the sloooooow activation time really takes them out of PvP, even healing is a drag now. p.s. the new animation looks dumb and unpolished. Maybe not in a direct upfront sales kinda way but in the long run bug fixes, exploit and hacks fixes and QoL/Balances in the long run pay off. How many units of ark have been sold in total? Just a quick google search shows back on Feb 16, 2017, there has been a total of 7 million copies of ark sold. Now granted people have naturally got bored and moved on, got the game and ended up it not being their cupnof tea or got banned. Over all though, how many people have stopped playing due to bugs, glitches, loss of faith in WC, being meshed and loosing everything etc etc? I imagine it's got to be in the thousands of not tens of thousands. With the loss of those players means the loss of future purchases which means loss of profit. I am not niave, I know with new dlcs means some of those players comeback for a bit but I imagine it's more of the players that simply got bored and are waiting for something fresh to play more than players that have been burned by the lack polishing and patches. I for one am still waiting for those "900+" bugs to be fixed that Jen commented on back in EA a few months before release as the big final QoL push before launch. I'm on Xbox. Want to test different dinos on a boss, so I'd like to mimic the official boss stats on a single player game. Possible? If not, what alternative options do I have (like running a player hosted dedicated or something) [link] [comments]  |
