I've play about 100ish hours on the island map, I'd still consider myself somewhat of a noob. I've tamed raptors, trikes, like 16 dilos, sarcos, pteranodons, etc. I'm in the 50's levels rn.

What's some important info everyone should know before going into the ragnarok map? Any good locations for a secure base? Single player only. I like not being raided.

Best tame to get around unharmed? I like sarcos a lot but are they useful for this map?

Hi guys. I recently downloaded ark, hen i was told i had to delete it But then downloaded it again. Ever since i restarted ark ive been getting about 20 less FPS than i normally used to and its really annoying. When i first had it though, i didnt have any mods installed. Now i have about 15. Is that why my FPS has decreased so badly and if yes, Is there a way to delete them so that i get my goof FPS back? Thanks so much for your time

Any Way To Use Cloud To Transfer Single Player Saves From One Computer To Another?

I am getting a little tired of having to copy and paste my save file from one computer to another and I was wondering if there was anyway to use the cloud to transfer or keep the file up to date on two computers?

I use a laptop at work where when there is downtime I will play Ark.

100 turret limit needs to be updated

https://gyazo.com/b4f2edb76f8723b34529dfc1131db8fa When the turret limit first came out, the best racers were maybe 80k hp, while the average was around 60k and their saddles weren't over capped because cryopods had not yet existed. Now the best racers are 200khp and the average ones are 140k.

Our base defences cannot scale the same way tames can. Unfortunatly, on official we rely on wildcard to balance the metas. If you exclude Valguero, extinction and abberation, there are only 5 fucking surface bases on official. Your latest DLC is the biggest reason why official has almost no bases, but the 3 years spent breeding has also done a number on the number of meta base locations.

If you raise the turret limit by 50 you would increase the DPS of our towers by 50%, I think this would be a fair increase and the "lag" caused by this increase in the turret limit would be almost non-existant.
If you are worried about choke points (cave entrances, turret walls) getting buffed, then instead of increasing the turret limit, can you please lower the AOE of the turret limit? This would be very beneficial as we would be able to create new efficient base designs instead of improving on older ones (so we don't just simply make our turret towers taller lol).

For example, on Alpha plateau Ragnarok I would be able to build a pillar base that doesn't interfere with the turrets on my landbridge.

Thats the current AOE of the turret limit from the floor of landbridge.

Why don't we just double the damage of existing turrets? Land pvp is already a disaster because of extinction, plantz nerf, pocket gigas ect. And having battery heavies with double damage would only make it even more difficult, as battery heavies can be placed in very cancerous spots and don't miss.

I don't want breeding to get nerfed as it would make a lot of official breeders quit, its one of the few things that wildcard hasn't gutted yet. Just keep in mind that official servers have been up for almost 3 years now.

How would you do an ARK Netflix Series?

If ARK were to get a Netflix Series, how would you want it done? Would you want to see the story from the Explorer Notes made into live action or a brand new story? Would you want to stick to the ARKs we know or have new ones created for the series? And lastly, would you do it animated or live-action (if budget wasn't a constraint)

Also, if you weren't aware ARK even had a story, the massive four-part, 1000 explorer note epic is condensed into a four-part summary here
