- So I'm kind of new to scorched Earth, don't play it that much, but I was running around and when I stopped I started to hear grunting sounds in the distance, and their constant, like the sounds are coming from a other player. Does any one what it's coming from? Coridants lat-23 lon-49

| Alpha Boss on Rag or Val? Which one is easier? Posted: 18 Nov 2019 07:49 AM PST I'm interested in peoples opinion on which Alpha fight is easier between Rag and Val official settings (I know Alpha Dragon on the island is tough which is why we're looking at unlocking those Tekgrams on a different map). The tribute list on Val seems much easier if you need to run it multiple times (for whatever reason). Until Val was released we were looking at Rag using either Rexes or Zinos (our Zinos can do Beta Dragon with a Yuty and pig or 2 with a few losses - we never bothered to try Beta Dragon with Rexes). Do Megalo's still worth well on Alpha Val [at night obviously]? Thanks [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 17 Nov 2019 11:05 PM PST So anyone attempting to access a obe terminal is shot. Isnt that almost the same as spawn blocking with buildings or having dinos set to aggressive at spawn points? Wasnt the entire point in preventing players from building within range of the obe to prevent them from being blocked? [link] [comments]  |

The highest I've seen was 1040 health, but I've popped a few with 37 points in all the other stats. Is there a wild health cap or am I just unlucky? [link] [comments]  |
| What's your breeding operation like? Posted: 17 Nov 2019 03:44 PM PST I've been breeding rexes and wondering what other people's breeding set ups are like and if I'm going overboard or not. I've got about 130 rexes, 80 pteras, and just started my theri and Bary lines. I get about 10 rex mutations per batch, usually get the one I'm looking for. My server's mating interval is set to about 1-2 days for rexes and 5x for maturation. Do you mass mate your rexes then mass hatch, or mate like 20 or so at a time, hatch them, then if you get a desired mutation you can switch stat lines so you're not always waiting for the mating interval? Sometimes I get a desired stat mutation at egg 20 out of 130 and now I have to wait for the mating timers. I still hatch the rest just in case I get a double mutation or a cool colour but it feels like there's a better way. [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 17 Nov 2019 01:18 PM PST I haven't played extinction in a year and I'm playing it again, I only have access to extinction dinosaurs. From my understanding, Manas and Velonosours were nerfed. The first time i beat the Desert Titan i used velonos on the back of a quetzel, then next I used Manas, are those still effective strategies or do I need to do something else? [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 18 Nov 2019 06:03 AM PST Since no one has yet bothered to make an exact list of every pet we are allowed to pull out of a cryo on Ab yet I just keep asking for each freakn pet I want cause yeah lets do this the hard way don't bother writing up a wiki page on it cause this game hasn't been out for like over a year now. | DinoCountMultiplier and Linux - Depreciated? Posted: 17 Nov 2019 02:02 PM PST Hi All, its been a few years since I have run an Ark server, and the last time I did it was on Windows. Trying to set up a new server on my linux box. I tried changing all of the settings to what I wanted first and then running it, but it never booted up after hours of waiting. So I did a fresh install and added my configs in 1 line at a time to find the issue. It appears to be the DinoCountMultiplier. I had it set to 0.05, but I have tried values of 0.5 and 0.7 as well and as soon as I put that line in, the server just never comes up. I have seen other posts about people having to put it in the Game.ini rather than the GameUserSettings.ini as the documentation (or lack thereof) says to, tried that as well with no luck. Any other linux server operators that have run into this? or is it just in general breaking things on all servers? No error messages are coming out, it just never shows up in server browsers, despite the process taking the normal amount of RAM. Thanks [link] [comments]  |
