| Officials, Enforcement, and Exploits Posted: 24 Nov 2019 08:07 AM PST This post is not meant to be a bash against Wildcard, while I have been critical in the past I understand that there HAVE been steps to make progress. I am concerned with responses and response time from Wildcard. My tribe is a fairly large tribe on Ark Officials who have a handful of servers we call our own. Recently we have had some issues with a specific group of people who are known to mesh and inside. The insiding, while annoying is not Wildcard concern as they deem it fair play and I can respect that decision. However, after our aberration was meshed by these individuals and our shadow cave mauled quite a bit; we expected it to be handled after reports. Then today, as some of our english members logged on and our chinese prepared for a solid night the same people began attempting to mesh our Carno Island cave. | PLEASE HELP! Ark won't read saved files and I need help!! Posted: 24 Nov 2019 08:08 AM PST So my computer crashed during my game and when it restarted all game options are back to default and my character is gone. I have researched through google and YouTube for solutions but nothing has worked. I have tried checking my save files in my computer and it appears they are still there, but even after restarting my computer again and going back in to Ark it isn't working. I need help.It's all gone, or at least I can't make it work. Anyone know how to fix this? The biggest problem is that Ark isn't reading my save files. It just doesn't seem to recognize them, although they are there. I have searched the internet for all night now looking for a solution. I would appreciate any guidance you guys could offer as I am completely frustrated at this point. PLEASE HELP! [link] [comments]  | ||

| Orbital Supply Drops not working Posted: 23 Nov 2019 10:37 PM PST The new Patch broke OSD drops on extinction. You cant access them to disable the shield or "claim" them on pve servers and u dont get any tooltip anymore like Wave number XX or XX Hostiles remaining. So you can not stop Purple drops since u cant access them to "end" the drop after wave 7 and on official pve servers u cant even "claim" them so any other player can come and just whip all your nice loot from red drops. "Eject loot" button still works just cant do purple drops since u cant stop them. [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 24 Nov 2019 07:36 AM PST My friends and I ran a host havoc server for the past two years moving from ragnarok to extinction; playing off and on until we got bored. We discontinued our subscription over the summer and I eventually got the itch again. I've been playing on official extinction and have to say the servers feel a lot better than I remember them. Pillaring is still around but nowhere near as extensive as I could recall; plus players are more willing to negotiate depillaring as long as good resource spawns aren't destroyed. I've got around 200 hours in and looking forward to raising my first giga on official. [link] [comments]  | ||

In spite of the issues I see reported, it's a patch that addresses fundamental issues with the game, and it's good to see that WC is still invested in making the fundamentals better instead of just fluff stuff. | Posted: 23 Nov 2019 03:49 PM PST I'm playing on a dedicated server that I run for me and a very small group of friends. Back around the time of the Halloween event, we noticed that our imprinting intervals were WAY quicker - they'd previously been at about 90 minutes, and now they were 3 minutes! However, they also seemed to give a ton of imprinting quality per imprint (everything got 100% per imprint except we noticed Theris got 33%). Today I finally went back and tweaked our actual Imprinting Interval Multiplier in our server settings (and all the other breeding settings, to get them to refresh back to normal), and the timing did change correctly... but now our Theris are getting only 3% per imprint (the few other dinos we tested did get 100% per imprint). We liked the % given per imprint event being high and we want it back - but I can't find any specific setting for that. Is there no way to change it? [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 23 Nov 2019 03:17 PM PST I know turrets cant shoot through a tek shield but my question is will tek/heavy turrets still shoot at an enemy who is on the outside of the shield, causing your turrets to waste ammo. Unoffical server with non boosted stats with 4x rates Our allies and us have been been breeding a year and a half for this fight after our first attempt failed miserably on dec 16 of last year.
