| [QoL] Can Enforcers get natural armor please? Posted: 16 Dec 2019 12:40 AM PST Enforcers are cool and can be useful very early on for travelling. But besides that, they simply aren't worth making due to how squishy they are. Their low base health combined with no saddle makes them take way too much damage even from low level creatures. Giving them natural armor would make them much more viable for fighting corrupted and actually worth making. Plus, they're covered in metal so you'd think they'd have a little bit of armor :P [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 16 Dec 2019 03:22 AM PST ConfigOverrideNPCSpawnEntriesContainer=(NPCSpawnEntriesContainerClassString="Valguero_IceWyvernEntries_C",NPCSpawnEntries=((AnEntryName="IceWyvern(1)",EntryWeight=0.33,NPCsToSpawnStrings=("Ragnarok_Wyvern_Override_Ice_C"))),NPCSpawnLimits=((NPCClassString="Ragnarok_Wyvern_Override_Ice_C",MaxPercentageOfDesiredNumToAllow=1.0))) The code goes into game.ini. It replaces the spawning entry Valguero_IceWyvernEntries_C that contains Ragnarok_Wyvern_Override_Ice_C with the same but with a trick: the "default" vanilla one actually uses Blueprint'/Game/Mods/Valguero/Assets/Dinos/IceWyvern/Ragnarok_Wyvern_Override_Ice.Ragnarok_Wyvern_Override_Ice' that apparently isn't going well with the rest of the game and the new one replaces it with Blueprint'/Game/Mods/Ragnarok/Custom_Assets/Dinos/Wyvern/Ice_Wyvern/Ragnarok_Wyvern_Override_Ice.Ragnarok_Wyvern_Override_Ice' that is already optimized and fixed. My tests have shown the correct icon on the wyverns, on the cryopods and no problems with transferring to another map. Cryopods can be deployed, wyverns uploaded to the cluster cloud can be downloaded, new eggs seem to transfer as well. Both in the inventory and through uploading to the cloud. [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 16 Dec 2019 02:07 AM PST Hey everyone I've been watching some recent YouTube videos and the admin has a screen where he can choose commands like spawning dinos, teleport to players etc. Is this ARK Commander or is there an equivalent ? | Ridiculous Duping Still In Effect Posted: 16 Dec 2019 08:20 AM PST Despite the last enforcement initiative it would seem duping is still as crazy as ever. Server lagged on and off going from 30 ping to 255, during which time a "Base" (not really set up for farming or an actual base) appeared on server with hundreds of tek dino gates and cliff plats. Lava cave on a Rag server is NOT somewhere you prefab a Tek base for. Supposedly it's an old official tribe up to their usually tricks and is annoying AF with all the new lag. Maybe one day this level of blatant cheating will be recognized. This is just a PSA to not get your hopes up, and at least the post about it doesn't get locked down by moderators because you are talking about something bad happening in the game. >.> [link] [comments]  |

Also, has anyone had an issue with crashes? I've only tried to enter Valguero, but it's not working. (old save used to have mods but I wiped it and took the mods out, not sure if that's a problem?) Posted: 16 Dec 2019 02:46 AM PST I've been researching and the furthest back i can tell the word "meshing" was used in the official forums is 2017 (community crunch 127) but I'm not familiar enough with the games history to know if that was its first official mention by the devs. How long have you been able to get under the mesh? What are the various milestones meshing went through, if any? I also couldn't find many posts regarding the devs responses other than boilerplate acknowledgements, if that. Posted: 15 Dec 2019 03:40 PM PST I got into breeding and wanted to breed some Kangaroos for cool mutations - I remember using a bola in the past and even on the wiki it says immobilized by Bolas. Now I threw a Bola and it did not get rooted - I tried again - nothing. I then tested on a Raptor to see if it maybe was a server setting and the raptor was bola'd just fine. Speaking of Raptors - they are currently bugged and can pounce you off of everything. Including Wyverns. [link] [comments]  |
| Help to fix Family Share: Mod Version Mismatch error needed Posted: 15 Dec 2019 06:24 PM PST As the title says, I'm trying to family share from my PC. Both accounts are accessing Steam and ARK through the same PC. The main account that owns Ark is having no issues (well none besides the usual bugs). The main account can join the servers without any mod version errors. The servers are definitely running the latest version of all mods. The second account that is 'borrowing' ARK can't join any modded servers due to a Mod Version Mismatch error. What has been tried so far: The original account was used to join the server and acquire all the mods before the second account tried. Local files have been verified on both accounts. Mods were unsubscribed from for both accounts and the mods folder deleted (several times). Mods were re-acquired via subscribing to the mods and though joining the server, both methods were tried on the main and secondary account, singularly and jointly with mods being unsubscribed and the mod folder deleted between each attempt. For anyone contemplating this fix, please note that downloading the mods on the secondary account before the primary stopped the primary account from being able to join modded servers. Last night in desperation, ARK was uninstalled and all traces of it removed from the PC. ARK was redownloaded and installed on a new SSD. But the issue persists. The second account can't join any official server because family sharing is not allowed on official and it can't join any modded unofficial server because of the Mod Version Mismatch Error. Not sure if this is of any help or not but loading the exact same mods into single-player and the second account can play in single-player. If anyone knows how to fix this issue, your help would be greatly appreciated. [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 15 Dec 2019 05:53 PM PST So, since the update last week (xbox), there were issues where no one on my unofficial cluster could transfer maps. It has now been fixed for everyone but me. When I transfer, the spawn menu pops up like normal. I select a bed, and click spawn. It then changes to the create a character menu. Then, I go back to the map I was attemping to transfer from, and my character is downloadable there. Any ideas? [link] [comments]  |

I was fighting a dragon and my rex suddently moves slowly. I turned off my game... not working I had Broodmother poison me to sleep -> woke up -> still numb Changed out saddle does not work Remove saddle and have it attack target -> still numb I gotta wait for the owner to reset the server. I have 100s of dodo eggs and spino but only a few of the Carnos even though I have more mate boosted female Carnos than Dodos and have had them weeks longer. I cannot use an Oviraptor since I'm on Aberrant. [link] [comments]  |
