Aberration vs Extinction Posted: 25 Dec 2019 08:26 AM PST I came back to Ark recently after about a long time (Last time I played scorched earth was the only paid dlc) and I want to know which DLC is better. I've seen that Aberration seems to have better reviews but the Extinction reviews seems to be useless. I want to buy one DLC for now but probably going to buy the other one later if I have the money. ARK PVP - Uses for a Snow Owl? Posted: 25 Dec 2019 12:04 AM PST Decided to tame a 140 Snow Owl on Official ORP (after bonus level it's 207 now) and I noticed it's a bit slower than my pteranodon (without nose dive) and a bit weak with its melee. Weather effects missing Posted: 25 Dec 2019 04:14 AM PST Hi, Ever since a recent patch (possibly the Winter Wonderland one), weather effects are missing. That is, I will hear the sounds for rain or snowstorms, and the clouds will thicken, but there will be no precipitation falling from the sky. This is on unofficial, The Island. Basilosaurus in Viking bay untameable? Posted: 24 Dec 2019 07:05 PM PST So, me and a tribbie go down to Viking bay to tame a lvl 140 basilosaurus we found swimming around in there. Lo and behold, it's untameable. Neither me or my friend can feed it mutton. We don't even get a prompt saying "Put taming food into last slot in hotbar!", as we would if we didn't have the food. There's nothing at all. We can tame other Basilosaurus outside of Viking bay, so is this a bug or is it intended? submitted by /u/HourDark [link] [comments]

My meg went rogue Posted: 24 Dec 2019 08:18 PM PST I was playing on my server today and I got into the water at the exact right time to see my meg killing another shark. It was on neutral but for whatever reason it decided to swim at a downward angle toward the bottom of the ocean, and I just really don't know what happened.
