Ark creature ideas Theme: Aberration and Caves pt1

Here´s a couple of my ideas for cave desgined creatures:

Desmodus Celeridente (Desmodus is a genus of vampire bat,Celeridente translates to ´´Swift fang``)

    https://preview.redd.it/tpw2q6msar841.png?width=540&format=png&auto=webp&s=6f0d5cbee2ed8b49681c919af08b3dc15a35e515

´´Desmodus Celeridente inhabits the occult ceilings and dark hallways of the aberrant ark, adapted to other means of travel rather then flying, the Celeridente can glide, swoop, dive, climb, walk and swim its way towards unespecting prey, usually medium to large sized herbivores and lampreys (a delicacy it enjoys)

While normally only agressive to herbivores, the Celeridente can rapidly dive into higher tiers of prey if they are injured, sick or sleeping. Sleep with a eye open fellow survivors!

    Tamed:

The Desmodus can be a unvaluable tame to both war and peaceful tribes due to it´s high moblity, endurance and combat proweness, especialy when paired with another creature that can cause open wounds and bleeding``

Habitat: The celeridente inhabits the ceilings of the fertile zone (rare) and the bioluminecent zone (uncommon),but can be ocasionally be seen diving into the ground, climbing or swimming to get it´s prey

Behavior: It attacks small and tiny creatures mostly, but may attack medium and large sized creatures if the creature is bleeding or at low health

    Stats:

•Base health: 400 (slightly more then a argy)

    •Base Stamina: 500 (100 more then a argy)

•Base oxygen: 220 (slightly more then a thyla)

    •Base food: 1500

    •Base Weight: 280

•Base damage: 70 (slightly less then a megalosaurus)

    •Movement speed: 100%

    •Torpidity: 780 (slightly more then a megalosaurus)

    •Drag weight: 300

Can be immobilized by: Chain bola,Large bear trap and Plant Y

Can be grabbed by: Megalosaurus and Tuseotheis

    Traits:

•Nocturnal: Desmodus eyes glow red while at nightime (all times at aberration) and it´s attack and movement speed are increased by 10%

•Bloodsucker: Desmodus bite heals and feeds him for 10% of the damage dealt,20% if the target is bleeding or at low health, addionally the Desmodus can eat leech blood and receives 50 hunger and 100 health for doing so

•Heat vision: The rider of the Desmodus can see Bleeding and Low health creatures with a heat signature (like a tek railgun)

•Climbing: Celeridente can climb both walls and ceilings like a megalania, and hang upside down from them, but slightly faster

    •Gliding: Celeridente can glide similar to a griffin/snow owl/rock drake,albeit slower

•Diving: Celeridente can dive while gliding, similar to a griffin or snow owl, albeit slower

•Swooping: Cleridente can swoop while diving,by looking up while diving it will gain altitude and lose some of its speed

•Jumping: the Desmodus can jump as high as a Deinoychus, and is immune to fall damage

•Swimming: Celeridente can swim slightly quicker then a beaver and can dive in water

•Walking/Running: The Celeridente can walk and run like a raptor, albeit slightly slower

Main attacks (use the main attack button):

•Bite (Ground/water/latched): The Desmodus bites it´s target for 100% base damage

    Stamina cost: 10

•Dive bomb (Diving): The Desmodus creates a aoe when it touches the ground, dealing 500% of it´s base damage (doesn´t trigger Bloodsucker)

    Stamina cost: 85

•Latch (Swooping or Jumping): The Desmodus clings itself to a wall, ceiling or creature like a deinoychus

    Stamina cost: 0

Alt attacks (use the alt attack button):

•De-latch (While latched): The desmodus jumps in the direction it´s facing as it delatches

    Stamina cost: 0

•Echo blast (While not latched): The desmodus emits a deafening screech, stunning adjacent creatures and revealing nearby enemies temporaly like a Parasaur´s sonar

    Stun duration: 1 sec

    Reveal duration: 6 sec

    Stamina cost: 35

    Cooldown: 6 sec

    Taming:

The Celeridente must be tamed by knock out,it is a carnivore so meat or leech blood must be used

    •Preferred food: Leech blood

    •Rideable: Yes (with saddle)

•Desmodus Saddle (Unlocked at level 41,crafted at smithy,1 passager that can use weapons):

    350 Hide

    250 Fiber

    40 Metal ingot

    25 Blue gem

    25 Green gem

    •Breedable: Yes (Mammal)

    Gestation time: 6 hours

    Baby time: 7 hours

Juvenile time: 1 day and 3 hours

Adolescent time: 1 day and 10 hours

Total: 3 days and 2 hours

    Breeding interval: 16 hours

    Imprinting food: Leech blood

    •Utility:

War mount: high base damage, mobilty and the abilitie for the passanger to carry weapons make the Desmodus a excellent Guerrilla war mount with hit n run tatics

Hunter: High damage, moiblity, tracking and stunning can make the desmodus a swift and deadly hunter

Pack hunter: While it doesn´t gain any pack bonuses,a pair of desmodus coupled with a few ravagers can prove very useful for killing stuff

Egg stealer: It´s mobility and the ability to use a whip while mounted can provide useful for egg-stealing (he isn´t immune to radiation tho)

Is it op? (A brief analysis)

Comparison with other creatures that share it´s niche:

    Damage:

Celeridente: 70 base damage, plus the ability to dive for 500% damage or latch in large creatures to hit weak spots and to create most types of ambushes

Megalosaurus: 75 base damage, plus the ability to grab medium creatures and a bleed

Griffin: 27 base damage, plus the ability to grab small creatures, dive bomb for 300% damage and dive swipe for 1000-1500% damage

Deinoychus: 30 base damage, plus the ability to pounce on small creatures, pack and alpha boosts,a bleed and the ability to latch on large creatures to hit weak spots

Reaper: 75 base damage, plus the ability to slow creautes, ground fliers, borrow ambushes

Basilisk: 55 base damage (bite),plus a long-range poison aoe that deals 120 base damage and induces torpor and the ability to borrow underground for ambushes

Rock drake: 60 base damage, plus the ability to do invisibility, glide and climbing ambushes and acess to a Tek saddle

My conclusion: If utilizing it´s dive bomb with effectively the Celeridente may surprass other creatures in terms of raw damage, but it lacks range, torpor, grab, borrrow ambushes and slows/bleeds the other creatures have

    Tank:

Celeridente: 400 base health, plus saddle and the ability to restore some health and hunger with bites or by feeeding leech blood

    Megalossaurus: 1025 base health,plus saddle

Reaper king: 45000 base health, plus incredible resistence while not in charge light but can´t receive mate boost

Griffin: 950 base health but can´t receive mate boost

Deinoychus: 200 base health, plus pack and alpha boost and saddle

Basilisk: 2750 base health plus saddle

Rock drake: 1950 base health plus saddle and tek saddle can eat nameless venom for quick health

My conclusion: The celeridente is outclassed by large margin by most creatures in the list, except maybe the deinoychus

    Mobility:

Celeridente: Climbs walls and ceiling faster then a megalania, swims faster then a beaver, glides and dives slower then other gliders and walks a bit slower then a raptor

Megalossaurus: Faster then the Celeridente while walking

Reaper king: Faster then the Celeridente while walking and jumping

Griffin: Flies, dives and glides a lot faster then the celeridente

Deinoychus: Walks and jumps a bit faster then the celeridente, climbs slower then the celeridente

Basilisks: Walks faster then the celeridente and can burrow

Rock drake: Walks,Jumps,Glides,Climbs and Dives faster then the celeridente

My conclusion: while a good jack of all trades, the celeridente is still slower in some aspect then the other creatures (except swimming) and lacks burrowing

    Utility:

Celeridente: Can harvest a lot of leech blood and rider can use weapons ,can track low health and bleeding creatures

Megalossaurus: Grab and aberrant version is immune to radiation

Reaper king: Slows and burrows, immune to radiation

Griffin: Two riders that can carry weapons

    Deinoychus: Rider can use weapons

    Basilisks: Burrows and torpor

Rock drake: Rider can use weapons, tracks reapers and is immune to radiation

My conclusion: The celeridente can go par on par with most creatures in utility, but lacks carry weight and radiation immunity

Edit: Added drag weight and means that it can be immobilized/grabbed,slightly increased stun duration and doubled it´s cooldown, slightly increased base health and weight, more in depth breeding

Im brazilian sorry for the bad english

Can different pcs host 1 cluster

    Posted: 04 Jan 2020 06:31 AM PST

Me and 3 friends want to host a 3 server cluster but none of us has the needed hardware to host all of the servers. Only 1 each. Is there a way to solve this issue? Like hosting one server in each machine but clustering them together?

    Gacha Taming Process

    Posted: 04 Jan 2020 06:25 AM PST

Whats the best resource/item to tame a gacha?? I've heard stone is good but I've also read posts (not many) that greenhouse ceilings tame them up fast w/high efficiency. When I tamed my first gacha yesterday I just threw stone at its face over and over and then noticed that the taming efficiency went down super quick but it didn't take long to tame it. Later today I will try again but I want to do it right.

How do people play on servers?

Every server I see is dead. Do people join through the server browser or do they do something else?
