Ark PS4 Ark PvP thoughts |
| Posted: 07 Feb 2020 12:11 PM PST Hey all, It's been about a year since I've played Ark and the meta is pretty different. After reading some would the best soakers now be the rock golem? They can cryo pod and pop out anywhere. Turrets seem like they do nothing to them unless a tribe has Tek or rockets. (Thoughts?) Additionally it seems like tames (other than soakers) have lost their usefulness. Let's say you use a golem or two to soak and breach an enemy wall. Out come their tames. All you really need to do is kite them to a fob or a turret bronto, quetz, para. Who needs Melee tames if you can run heavy turrets and Tek turrets. It would seem that you can just stomp on other tribes if you massed enough guns. They lose out on all the hours of capturing and breeding while you lose out on a few guns / bullets. Which is a less time investment then tames. Does this sound correct ? Just trying to think things through. Joined an active cluster and we're looking to start off right. Thanks! [link] [comments]  |
