Most of what I find is very dated or poorly executed guides (failed attempts, live stream rather than guide format, guides who don't give coordinates or clear instruction, etc.). | How to easily boost your FPS in single player on console Posted: 05 Jun 2020 06:58 AM PDT Just around my base my FPS was 25 on average and now it's 40-45 How? Well you open up the admin console Xbox: (Pause the game and press LB, RB, X and Y all at the same time) PlayStation: (Pause the game and press L2, R2, Square and Triangle all at the same time) Then what you do is type in these commands: admincheat sg.groundclutterquality 0 admincheat r.shaddowquality 0 admincheat should.effectsquality 0 And then also turn off light bloom and light shafts in the settings (untick the boxes at the bottom of the settings) Please tell me the results! My game runs much smoother now so I want to see if it works for you guys. | Need help with my single player Posted: 05 Jun 2020 10:38 AM PDT 1 Admin commandsI'm trying to spawn and force tame something that disappeared when my game crashed but for whatever reason. Pressing Lb RB X Y doesn't open the box to type commands into 2 Dino's not respawningMy whole area is sort of lifeless because Dino's respawn so slowly. Also it won't let me type anything above 1.0 for "Dino count" 3 crafting speedI can't find where to boost crafting speed per level. | Got a question about Bee Hives Posted: 05 Jun 2020 03:28 AM PDT According to the wiki a wild bee hive regenerates every 15 minutes and you get 5 honey from it. A placed bee hive gives 1 honey every 45 minutes and has to be fed rare flowers. So if a natural one is easily accessible why would i want to tame the queen and make my own? I just want to know if i tame a dino just for breeding, does taming effectiveness matter ? The baby dino will get the stats of the parent when he was just tamed, including the bonus from the taming effectiveness or without this bonus ? | Metal & Obisidian Rocks, and Crystals don't respawn in The Island Single Player (PS4) Posted: 05 Jun 2020 12:15 AM PDT Hey guys. I've been playing Ark for a month or 2 now, just farming resources on The Island. Mining trips are pretty great since I have a level 55 Ankylo at the moment. However, one issue I've noticed is that metal rocks, obsidian, and crystals are not respawning. I tried fiddling with some of the settings before starting up my world to see if it would help. I have Resource Respawn Interval set to 0.15, Structure Prevent Resource Spawning to 0.25, and Player Prevent Resource Spawning to 0.25, with the checkbox for Single player settings turned off. Addiyionally, I've started this world as a nom-dedicated session a few times. This seems to have made a lot of small rocks, trees, and bushes spawn around my base after the area being empty for a good week or so. Some of these materials are directly on my property, which I don't mind. But I have to say, I was disappointed when I noticed the mountain peak I regularly go to by the Redwood Forest still didn't have any Metal rocks, despite there being quite a few gold rocks when I initially started mining. I also regularly go to the volcano with the cave entrance to mine Obsidian and Crystal but it doesn't seem those resources are respawning either. Did I break something? Is there a fix? I can't seem to find a solid answer online, just that this has apparently been an issue in the game for a few years. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Looking for a Mod to increase Mating range Posted: 04 Jun 2020 10:27 PM PDT So just like the title says. I have the Hitch Post Mod that helps me immensely so I don't have to constantly whistle when I put the dinos on wander. However I do have a slight issue right now. When I put 4 Carbys next to each other in a line, the male in the middle, I can get two of the females to mate, but the one that is farthest away is unable to be effected. Back in the day I used to do a 7:1 ratio for breeding rexes. And that worked out just fine for rexes. but other dinos like carbys who have have collision with each other and a wider body well, not so much. Maybe I'm doing this wrong, but I thought to check this subreddit first before trying out a few things to get more than just 2 in range of the male. [link] [comments]  | ||
