Full Screen vs Borderlesss Full Screen Different Quality? Posted: 10 Aug 2020 10:26 AM PDT When I play ark in 4k I can notice a huge difference when i play on fullscreen and then swich to borderless fullscreen. For some reason borderless fullscreen gives me way better textures than with regular fullscreen but then my frames take a huge hit when i'm in borderless fullscreen. Single Player or Non-Dedicated Session? Posted: 10 Aug 2020 11:31 AM PDT Hey everyone, I wanted to start up a single player world on Ark. However, I've heard that SP is stupidly buggy and worlds get deleted for seemingly no reason at times. Would a non-dedicated session be a solution to this problem? narcoberries vs narcotics Posted: 09 Aug 2020 12:46 PM PDT the age old saying is that narcoberries are more effective than narcitics when taming. i never realy believed this or saw much of a difference when i tried doing this, and i never realy got an explanation from anyone, just people saying "its better just trust me" so i finally decided to sit down and research this and i think i have the answer. ive known for years that torpor drain completely pauses while torpor is being applied by narcs/berries/etc. this is extremely apparent when taming gigas, as their torpor drain is insanely fast, at a whopping 414/sec, but if you give them 1 single narcotic, which applies 40 over 8 sec (5/sec), that torpor drain completely halts for those 8 seconds instead of being reduced to 409 for those 8 seconds. this works the same way on any other creature so in my research, i found that narcoberries apply 7.5 torpor over 3 seconds, so a rate of 2.5/sec. this is half the rate of narcotics, which means that the torpor drain is stalled for roughly twice as long for the same amount of time/torpor applied. so am i correct in saying that the reason why people say narcoberries are better is because the torpor drain is paused for longer and therefore less torpor gain needs to be applied? submitted by /u/NexGenration [link] [comments]

Trying to install crystal isle.
