| Damage cap on tropeognathus saddles? Posted: 06 Aug 2020 11:55 PM PDT ANSWERED: 369.3% appears to be current damage cap for tropeo saddles. Myself and another user both received this value from crafting high bp saddles. Strange cap - but that's what we got. Hi all, Curious if anyone knows if there's a damage cap on tropeognathus saddles. I've seen BPs as high as 340%, but wondering if that's all for naught due to a cap. It's a bit of a weird saddle in that it's damage-based rather than armour based (i.e., primitive has same armour as ascendant). Anyone given it a go and have some data about this? | What team do I REALLY need to beat the Ragnarok Bosses on Gamma? Posted: 07 Aug 2020 09:59 AM PDT I've been playing ark for a few hundred hours, and finally think it's time to take on the bosses. I don't really know what to expect, and everytime I look it up, I see videos of people going in with 20 max level mutated rexes. Like yea, that'll definitely do it, but realistically I don't have that kind of team. At least not yet. What team can I go on with, and still have a fighting chance? I have a few lv 200+ wyverns. Couple of rexes and gigas all lv 200+ aswell, with a deadon, and yuti for support. I could go in for a few more rexes, but I'm just curious to know that standard comp that people use? | Is dododex accurate on amount of bloodpacks to tame Bloodstalker? Posted: 06 Aug 2020 10:04 PM PDT Hi All, Solo player and new to Genesis, here - I'm curious if the figures on dododex are accurate (or within the stated margin of error) for bloodstalkers. As an example, the # of bloodpacks required for a lvl 1-140 is 640 (+ or - 25%) on 2x taming. That's a huge margin and a ton of bloodpacks if accurate. Some context: I know there was a reduction to the amount of bloodpacks required to tame a Bloodstalker, and the amount listed on dododex seem exorbitantly high (in addition, it lists values of up to lvl 500 wild spideys - does it even go that high?) - I'm wondering if this calculation was done before that buff. If that figure is accurate - how the hell do you get that many packs? When I make like 10 almost all my hp is zapped. even if I fridge em immediately, that's a shitload of work (not to mention med brews). Thanks for any advice you can give! [link] [comments]  | ||

Looking at the play store I see a whole bunch of different versions of Ark: Survival Evolved, Extinction, Genesis, aberration, scorched earth... My question is, are these all sequals, or is their 1 main base game and these are all just expansion packs and updates? Is this game like a minecraft type open world sandbox game with dinos, or is it more like a Skyrim type thing with a story and quests? [link] [comments]  | ||

| ARK! I've lost two characters so far - Cannot save game or character. Posted: 06 Aug 2020 04:01 PM PDT First off, I'm playing this on the PS4. Going by the availability of PS4 related advice for this game from Google search results, I assume I'm one of about four or five people not using PC for this game. So after doing the characters physical features and naming them, I had to quit the game once due to scheduled server update and once because server crashed. The second time I managed to build a foundation and bed to respawn, but apparently that makes no difference. Is this game designed to make you start from scratch every time you play? I strongly suspect I'm missing something and the UI on this game is absurd! It's useless from any standpoint of ideas and knowledge being communicated at all. I've spent more time watching YouTube ARK videos than playing the game. But, there is no tutorial that I could find covering how the hell to not lose your character build when the system crashes or you, for some reason, stop playing the game. [link] [comments]  | ||
