| Posted: 10 Oct 2020 12:53 AM PDT So along with my idea that if all the bosses got +15 we could have a max level of 200 after Genesis, I think it's time Scorched Earth got some new TEKgrams to make it relevant again. Obviously we need a weapon (which I really think should be the TEK bow and electric arrows for tranqing) and a saddle (the Wyvern saddle is IN THE DEV KIT) but for the structure, I think the TEK Tenderizer would be an excellent idea! The way it would work would be this: put in cooked meat and it turns it into jerky at a high rate. We've needed this forever and now with the summer event we really need it. But wait! There's more! The Tenderizer would have two functions for RAW meat. You can set it to cook raw meat at a rate much faster than the Industrial Grill, or you could set it to spoil raw meat quickly! And, if I may make one more suggestion: leaving meat in the Tenderizer gives it the "salted" effect which is very similar to "chilled" canteens. Salted meat provides more food and healing and has a double spoiler time until the effect wears off! [link] [comments]  | ||

This would be so much fun, and like for ex. If you kill one of the village people in front of another all will attack you, and maybe even a trading system but I don't much care for that, I don't have time to explain more, but devs dm me if you anything you wanna say/get more ideas from. | Posted: 10 Oct 2020 08:51 AM PDT I asked this on r/ARK and got no answers so I'll try asking here. Did my first boss fight recently. When me and a friend went in, and the fight started, there was no timer at the top showing how much time we have to kill the boss. The timer that showed how much time is left before you teleport out after the boss is dead still showed though. On top of that, the 30 second timer that starts when you select a boss fight at an obelisk didn't show up either. Is this a glitch or a new change? The server was non-dedicated, singleplayer settings enabled because I'm usually by myself a lot, but in this case I had a friend with me who occasionally plays that came along. The boss was the Island Alpha Megapithecus. Any clue why the timer doesn't show up at the top? Just nervous because our main base is on Ragnarok, and in order to farm element we have to do the arena there so I'm worried about the Manticore's tendency to not land, and not knowing I'm running out of time. After the last update, I noticed a couple of the tek engrams I had unlocked were locked again. Namely the tek sword and dedicated storage. So I just did the Ragnarok Boss (Alpha) to unlock the tek sword engram again. But on successfully defeating the wyvern and manticore the tek sword remains locked. Boss fight was non-eventful, transferred in fine, no losses, got all the element, flags, and trophies that you usually get, but no tek sword engram? I checked wiki and the Ragnarok boss fight is still listed as the boss fight for unlocking the tek sword. Does anyone know what is going on? How do you unlock the tek sword now? | Ark Genesis xbox single player - raft base structures /placeables deleted after teleport Posted: 09 Oct 2020 08:23 PM PDT Summary: placed a raft in the water in the ocean biome, at the small island with a beach, and built up a standard small (under limit) basic stone foundation raft base. Bed, crafting, a few boxes. Used it to get more wood and etc from a nearby island. Parked it and teleported via HLNA to my base in the Big. Logged in today, teleported to my ocean island hut And went to the raft to find it stripped clean, like new but the sail was still down. Is this a known bug? I've also lost saddles from my tames in the bog, and found out that was a known issue... But haven't found anything about losing everything on your raft. Are there workarounds for either bug? How can these bugs still be in the game? This is game breaking (and heart breaking after all that work to finish and stock it up). [link] [comments]  | ||
| Ragnarok Jungle Cave "you killed yourself" Posted: 09 Oct 2020 12:38 PM PDT So after thousands of hours of Ark I'm actually starting to attempt the bosses and minibosses. I've been running the jungle cave, and twice now I've run into falling unconscious due to torpor, and immediately dying with a "you killed yourself" message. Obviously I need to just bring some stimulant, but any idea what's going on? I wasn't on a grappling hook or anywhere where I would have fallen into lava. I had specifically gotten to a safe spot after killing everything near me. Or am I just a super noob? Thanks!! [link] [comments]  | ||
| Not Gaining Exp From Crafting Anymore? Posted: 09 Oct 2020 01:52 PM PDT I was gaining experience in my SP game a little too fast, so I bumped it down to 0.5. At one point I wanted to stop experience altogether and set it to 0.0. I bumped it back up to 1.0 and now I cannot seem to gain experience for crafting narcotics anymore. I am level 42, so they should still give me enough experience to notice the gain. The experience points do not go up at all after each narcotic completion. What is going on? [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 09 Oct 2020 05:44 PM PDT no trust me its not, right so my setup is a i7 7700 with 16gb ram witha 1650 super and ark is running off an m.2 ive tried: reinstalling ark COMPLETLY, changing my graphics card to a brand new one exactly the same, ive tried lowering settings no that doesnt help, reinstalled the graphics drivers with nvidia 4x no luck, ive used DDU to uninstall the drivers and then reinstalled them still nothing,tried playing without geforce experience, validating game files nothing, and oh it isnt the server im playing on cause this has happened on mts which if it was the mods then it would be happening to other ppl which it isnt and it doesnt just happen on mts if i play ANY server at all it crashes if that be give me a message, blue screen(though blue screen hasent happened in ages) or close with nothing soi have tried everything i can thing of [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 09 Oct 2020 02:05 PM PDT So when I got my xbox one in 2017 (I know I took awhile to switch but tbh I didn't even know about xbox one until the s came out, yes I lived under a rock) and So I played on Xbox one back in 2017, I liked it and recently I moved to pc as even though I have a one x now and a 54in tv i find menus low res and text really small on console and then epic games (my saviour) released it for free in the launcher and recently I've gotten around to playing it and it's quite fun and I'm still learning (took down my first bronto today :)) and so I'm wondering if I can make suggestions to the game here because I saw wildcard looks at post here and I would like to share my ideas to them and you and see if something happens, that is all for now :) [link] [comments]  | ||
