Question about reapers Posted: 23 Nov 2020 11:22 AM PST Hello All, I am a Aberration noob. I have been trying to find my way down to the rock drakes (separate issue) to get my first egg. However, I got lost once and found a reaper. He had about 46k health and I thought i would attempt to kill for the levels. However, I'm not extremely familiar with them tho I've seen some youtubers fight them. At one point, he did a poison attack and my survivor took torpor and I passed out. I have never seen this on a video before so I am lost. Is this new? Is it just very rare? Can it be avoided? Was it maybe just a glitch? Singleplayer Lunar Base? Posted: 23 Nov 2020 01:39 AM PST Who would have thought three years ago I'd be asking this question: but in the lunar biome, are there any safe spots to build a base in singleplayer? I'm looking to be safe from meteor showers (obviously). This would be a decently sized base (my end-game base if you will) and I'd like a view if possible so no caves. Few things that would be nice to see in a future TLC patch. Posted: 23 Nov 2020 02:28 AM PST In addition to/instead of refert, an item that when applied to any resource, makes it unbreakable to tames. This would solve the need for refert to begin with, preventing accidental destruction of resources. (Obviously certain things like metal and lampposts should not allow this to be applied) Fishing needs a major overhaul, I understand it was busted to begin with, but its silly that you can't fish above 2.6, my recommendation is make it so fishing yields an actual item of "Fish (size 0.0)" for example "Sabretooth Salmon Size 1.4" and this item in your inventory could have a very long spoil time, and be cut open for extra fish prime for taming + random stuff based on size. Pelagornis / Dimetrodon / Lymantria: Pel and Lymantria desperately need a speed boost, somewhere just below pteranodon would be amazing, and the Dimetrodon is neat but an air condition is just plain better, I think the way to make it useful would be to allow it to ride on your back, so you become sort of a mobile temperature regulator, could balance it by making it weight 10-20lbs. Harness straps, a new single use item that you could use when you get on your mount, which would stop only the next attempt to pull you off of it, with a cooldown for pvp. There are way to many critters that rip you off your mount at the moment, this would be a good way to counter it, if you come prepared you will have a much more enjoyable time. Item upload timers, these are very weird. If you join a server you start a 15 minute timer for uploading items, and it repeats every additional 15 minutes.. but they are locked in, meaning if you say timed it to 14 minutes and 55 seconds. You could grab as many items as you want and just immediately upload all of them. Conversely, if you accidentally moved an item even a single second past that time, you now have to wait an entire 15 minutes .. and by the way that includes spoiling.. if an item spoils it resets the entire item stacks timers, why the system works like that makes zero sense and it would be nice to get it fixed. Greenhouse structures, they really need to be either metal tier or at the least we need a more expensive stronger variant, same with adobe. Custom Recipes, Cool system but many ingredients are just a complete waste, would be nice to have some updated food images, a bit more color options, and maybe even dino applicable foods (for example, you can make stuff with poop that is just useless for humans, but maybe for dung beetles would be beneficial) Cooking pot. I know one of the main appeals of the industrial cooker is its ability to craft water free for stuff, but the ole waterskin technique is incredibly annoying as a starter player, and that theres nothing you can do about it till much higher in lvl is kinda silly. I would say allowing a new player to connect a water tap and have it pour into the cooking pot would be more than fair, it still is leagues behind the cooking speed of a cooker, but this way you dont have to spend 30 minutes walking back and forth with waterskins.. Edit: Also all event items with the exception of maybe the dodo rex spawners need to remain after the event ends, whats the point of farming fun stuff for decoration if it just despawns submitted by /u/gigigamer [link] [comments]

Hey all! Why is this game so big? Posted: 22 Nov 2020 03:48 PM PST Hey all, I have a question regarding the steam version of this game and downloading it... ...150GB FOR THIS GAME ARE YOU JOKING??? I nearly spit out my coffee when my new laptop sent me a little message saying i don't have enough room for it. I have skyrim SE and Overwatch downloaded on this thing and i figured "ha there's no way" and here I am, standing corrected. Is this supposed to be right? Is there any way I can download the game and have it not take up 90% of my computers space?
