| Which versions of the game are compatible? Posted: 15 Nov 2020 08:14 AM PST I'm playing on ark on epic games ( hate the launcher but it was free) , one is on steam and another is on Xbox . We can't find the servers we have hosted ourselves. We all have it on epic games but one cannot store and run the game and other has bad WiFi so would take a long time . How can we play together? Ps the bad pc is being upgrade soon hopefully but that's at Christmas at the earliest. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Anyone experiencing this problem? Posted: 15 Nov 2020 10:21 AM PST I am currently on an unofficial cluster that, since the tlc3 update, has made all the cluster maps unable to be found. To clarify they are up on the admins end, yet most of the day we can not see nor join them. The servers have been properly updated and been reset several times. Epic players seem to have no issues joining either. There are 2 unmodded maps they can access on the cluster and have had little trouble doing so. I play on steam however and there are only ~5 minute windows where i see the server pop up (hitting refresh every 5 mins or so) and i can join in and play for a few hours but if i miss the window then i need to wait again. When i get on, the little progress i make stays, meaning that I'm actually in a working server and it can remember what i do, yet then while I'm on and check the server list again, poof, its gone. If i log out at that point or dc i can not get back in. Anyone else recently (past week) had this happen? Also have reinstalled, validated, reset router, etc. [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 15 Nov 2020 05:53 AM PST I was expecting bosses to be difficult raids that you need a group of people to go in with that have some kinda mechanics and require weapons, maybe one dino each player. I finally look at some boss vids for The Island and it seems very... Lame... All these people just have a shit ton of Dinos and just sit there watching them not rly that interesting. | Getting fear evolved to run on singleplayer outside of the official event window Posted: 15 Nov 2020 12:52 AM PST I've just started a new game of ARK and realised I missed my favourite event, the Halloween one, so I decided to look into how I can enable it in singleplayer, even when the official window for it closed. So I did that, and I've added in '-activeevent=FearEvolved' to the launch options in Steam, and I've also tried adding 'activeevent=FearEvolved' into the GameUserSettings.ini under [ServerSettings]. Having one or both of these going does make my game recognise the Halloween event, the menu and menu music are what you would expect when the event was officially live. However, once I get in game I see hardly any of the changes from the event, in fact, the only change that I do actually see is the coloured dinos. No pumpkins/scarecrows/graves littered around the place, no candy corn drops, no meteors in the sky, no dodo rex, etc. Has anyone got any clue what's going on here? I've been playing around with this for multiple hours over the last few days. P.S. The only mods I have installed are: Riderless XP | Structures Plus (S+) | Fisters All Fog Remover | UACreatures | GateMod - DevKit Files | Classic Flyers Edit: Some grammatical fixes [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 14 Nov 2020 07:45 PM PST Was playing on my SP genesis world and i wanted to level up my rex army to max to fight alpha missions and rockwell 2.0. i decided to transfer my old breeding gigas from the island so i could breed them for baby kill XP. when i downloaded them and went to breed them, the female giga now had a 44:23:58:30 breeding cooldown on her. Why is this? the breeding cooldown of my rexes is only a few seconds and if i transfer the giga back to the island, it no long has said cooldown [link] [comments]  | ||
