| The owner of my favorite server took away everything Posted: 26 Dec 2020 02:29 PM PST So my friend and I started playing on a new crystal isles server we found about 2 months ago. Met the owner on the 2nd or 3rd day of us playing, he was very nice and everyone else we met on the server just wanted to help each other out, it was honestly amazing finding a random server that was like this for once. My friend and I spent all most of our time breeding crystal wyverns. By the time we had stopped we had roughly 60 wyverns and had given eggs to everyone else on the server because they had helped us out before so we repaid the favor. 2 weeks ago both my friend and I couldn't connect to the server so we tried later that day, then the next day, and the next day for 10 days until we could finally log in. We were both dead and couldn't spawn at our beds so we hoofed it back to the base to see the unthinkable. For the 10 days we couldnt connect the owner of the server decided to enable claiming and stole our base and every single take we had, he even took my dire wolves that are named after my dogs IRL. We've since tried to contact him and have heard nothing back, it's been about a week. When I tell you this has been the most devastating moment in Ark I have ever experienced I seriously mean it, especially seeing my favorite wyvern being owned by someone else. TLDR: Owner of server double crossed us and stole everything we had after 2 months on the server. | Help with figuring out how to play with friends Posted: 26 Dec 2020 09:44 PM PST So I play on ps4 recently my friend and I got ark while it was on sale(idk if it still is on sale) and we wanna play together, so naturally we join a server, it was horrible, bases everywhere and super laggy even though it was only around 40 ping with spikes every 5 min, so we try a host non dedicated but he is tethered to me and that sucks as we dont wanna be handcuffed to eachother basiclly, and when I try to run a dedicated server on my ps4 just for the 2 of us it never loads I just get a black screen, anyone know anything helpful on how we can get on a server to ourselfs?
