    After half a year of not playing I just got back into Ark and tamed me what looked like a Mana, which is my favorite creature to get around on. What I got was some weird longnecked thing that can jump far, but falls down right after.

    Was this necessary? Really?

    Really dislike this Turkey event.

    Hi Guys,

    I'm new here, so apologies if I am just going over something that has been said before.

    I've been playing ARK a while, and although I know its been going on for years, this is the first year I have seen the Turkey event.

    Started up again yesterday, spent the whole day building a starter base and taming the early essential Dinos. I noticed the Turkeys where 250, so opted to leave them alone, but I didnt know what they did. Several hours in, a Dilo walks into my base and agros one of my Dinos, resulting in the rest of them jumping to its aid. In the crossfire, a Turkey was hit, and proceeded to kill all of my Dinos as a result.

    I realize in retrospect that had my Dinos been on passive this could have been avoided, but simply put, I didn't know this could happen. So I am left incredibly frustrated, and feel like I've just wasted one of my days off.

    I am not sure what the point of this event is, and im sure some of you are (somehow) enjoying it. To me, it just seems lazy and ill thought-out. Ill give the game a break until its over.

    Does anyone else feel the same? or am I totally missing the point?. If that's the case, I would appreciate if someone wouldn't mind explaining it to me.

    Good morning community. So here is the deal. We are 6 willing to play small tribes. Nowadays what do u think it's the best way to start? We farm a lot, but everytime we build up, some dudes with super mutated dinos raid us and we can defend at all. What are your suggestions?
