| Trouble with my unofficial server Posted: 14 Feb 2021 02:13 AM PST Hello, me and a friend of mine have recently bought an unofficial server from Nitrado. It's an abberation server. We were just playing and were ready to head home out of the biolumenecent zone when suddenly the server stopped, we couldn't move and were kicked from the server, after a few days I got it working again and it is in the server list now. But the thing is, we both can't join it anymore. The message we keep getting is: 'Join failed, could not retrieve address.' Now i know it takes some time for servers to catch up after an update but its been two days now and I just want to play the damm game, we've tried everything: changed the DNS settings, loaded a single player world and tried to join it afterwords and nothing is helping. I've tried contacting nitrado to see what they can make of it but they're not very helpful, the tips they gave me don't work and I still can't play on the server. Ive tried using other backups before and after all hell broke lose. Please has anyone else had this problem and if so do you have a solution. Also I want to know if it's a problem with our Xboxes or if it is really the servers fault. This is not me advertising my server this is just asking for help, its an unofficial PC session, Abberation, Pve password protected. The password is Grieksesoep, please you can join the server and play on it if you want i really don't care if you're there to play or just to help me. | The Center permanently corrupted by an old save? Posted: 13 Feb 2021 08:45 PM PST Hi. I'm a casual Ark player and would appreciate some advice/opinion from veterans. A while ago I played The Center map with my mate on a dedicated server. We quit that game long ago and I started a new single-player game on my Xbox, but every time I get close to the place where my friend's base used to be, the game slows down so much, that it's pretty much unplayable. It looks more like a slide show. Everything goes back to normal as soon as I leave the area. I deleted my single player data, started a new save, deleted dedicated server data (although my Xbox wasn't our server), even re-installed the whole game. The issue is still there and it looks like the map is broken forever. I know I can just stay away from that spot, but it doesn't feel right, the game should simply work. Has anyone ever had a similar problem? Is there something else I can do to try to fix it? Here's a short clip of what happens when I get close to the place: [link] [comments]  | ||

| Gryphons not respawning Crystal Isles Posted: 13 Feb 2021 09:58 AM PST I'm getting super bummed. The Gryphons won't respawn. I wiped out the low levels so better ones would respawn. I've been checking the gorge regularly for over a week and nothing. (Solo mode) I took out all my traps so there was no structures and I killed a lot of the dinos in the area, but still nothing. What else can I do?! I only have 2 Gryphons left :'( [link] [comments]  | ||
