| Does anyone else not use cliffs or traps when taming? Posted: 11 Feb 2021 12:31 AM PST When I'm taming a dino I find it so much more fun to get my rifle and crossbows and tame without the use of traps or cliffs. I started doing this because I was shooting a rex from a cliff and got pushed down forcing me to knock him out while running and maneuvering around rocks. It was one of the most fun things I had done in Ark in a long time. It felt so much more rewarding to do than just sitting on a cliff. I also remember when I was a fairly low level taming my first brontosaurus. It was on a very small island so I had to do all sorts of stuff and it took so long that it went to night. There was just something so cool about running from the terrifying giant outline in the darkness. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Artifact of the cunning (the island) Posted: 11 Feb 2021 08:46 AM PST So i want to run the cave for the artifact of the cunning but the enemies are too strong i took a 25k health 400% melee basilosaurus in the cave and it got destroyed instantly (this is the best i can go because 0.2 difficulty) I dont have access to other maps too. I know you can go thru the cave with an itchy but i want to kill the tusos and other thing for loot like black plears. I also tried going in with a plesiosaur army of ten with ca. 7k health and 300 melee is there anything else i can do/tame. If it is absolutly impossible i can of course still use the itchy but as i said i want the loot. [link] [comments]  | ||

Google has revealed that beeswax is currently bugged and unobtainable but I can't seem to find any more info. I'm playing on xbox series S so mods are a no-go for me. | Can a pack of megalodons kill tusoteuthis? Posted: 10 Feb 2021 06:29 PM PST Me and my buddies are preparing for a bossfight and its time to get all the water related tributes; Megalodon teeth, Basilo blubber and...tusoteuthis tentacles. I have 4x tamed megalodons (all around 210-220 unleveled) and was gonna ask if they are powerful enough to kill tusos with. With the bleeding damage and pack bonus id imagine its possible, but i dont wanna tame new ones after every tuso since we need 25... any experience? what do i level the megalodons on?
