- Can someone help me with this? I dont know what happened but whenever i stand on a dino or put a dino above a dino (in this case a quetz), the weight just goes up extremely high and because of this I cant transport dinos using my quetz and others with platform saddle..

I'm playing on single player (The island, won't go to another map until I beat at least one boss) and my dino stats settings are the same as official servers with max wild level being 150 and 180 for tek dinos. I read that 30 in a stat is a decent start while 40+ is insanely good, but, I don't know if those are post tame or not. Any advises on the matter? Also, what would be decent post taming stats for the tek versions? I followed this guide to learn the basics and I think I understood everything right but feel free to share your advices if you have some! :) [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 16 Feb 2021 11:27 AM PST Hi everyone! My friends and I are playing on a custom server with a difficulty of 3. We have never played Ark before and have slowly made it to endgame(ish). We have defeated the Broodmother and have a team ready for both the Gigantopithicus and the Dragon. But I'm a little nervous for the Overseer. Not sure what to expect on that difficulty and at the gamma level. I've only really found alpha walkthroughs on high difficulties, which just make me stress. Any advice would be appreciated. | Help Choosing a Dino Overhaul (DOX. VS Primal Fear) Posted: 16 Feb 2021 03:39 AM PST Hey all, I have played Ark Single player extensively, gotten my raid dinos, ect. So looking for the next challenge. I'm looking at DinoOverhaul X and Primal Fear, currently. That being said, if you know something you think fits these better, I'm all ears. To clarify what I'm looking for: I want a hard but balanced experience, I don't want to spawn in front of a Broodmother/find them and other like creatures everywhere. So a consistent spawn system is something I'd want, should it exist, though I understand even vanilla spawns are often just as unforgiving. I want variety, without so much that it becomes pointless. If you have 100 new dinos, but only 10 of them were given any thought, then might as well just have 10 new dinos. I want it to be fun. Obviously, right? But a lot of people like excessive challenge, so to clarify what I find fun, is a challenge, but a possible one without having to do ridiculous and convoluted things, cheesey or otherwise. I want progression to be similar to vanilla Ark, just longer and eventually harder. As an example, for those that have tried it, this will give you a good idea of my tastes, since it is all subjective; Frackin' Universe for Starbound is likely the best mod for any game, if either of these have a similar feel to it, that one is the one I would like. Lastly, thank you, and if you have suggestions for mods that add fun and interesting building/items to the game (the are also balanced) I'd love to hear it. [link] [comments]  | ||

We ran around all the map on rock drakes multiple times and found no hives. The only two hives we ever encountered were the ones in the beginning of our playtrough around our base and unfortunately we accidentaly destroyed them with a roll rat. What should we do? | Posted: 16 Feb 2021 02:17 AM PST Advice on moving inland I want to move inland. My base is on the shores that are to the right of the hidden lake, between the northern shores and northeast shores if that makes sense. I can give a screenshot of the exact location if needed. I don't really know how to go about doing it. I tried exploring a little, am thinking of making another base at the hidden lake because there's beaver dams, raptors, theris and more to tame there. I have only 3 pteranodons after my highest lvl 172 died while I was exploring. I'll let you know the team that I have currently, take note that levels are not exact but the closest that I can remember them to be. My team consists of- 3 Rexes (2x lvl 50 and 1 lvl 15) 4 Allos (lvl 80,60,30 and 15) 3 Carnos (lvl 100, 50, 15) ???? Raptors (highest is lvl 145, 3 or so in the 80s range, 2(?) are 50, lowest one is 15. I tame any one of them on sight) 3 Trikes (lvl 100-192) 3 Pteranodons (lvl 50 - 122) 5 Dilos (lvl 20-70) ???? Parasaurs and Tek Parasaurs (I love them so I tame them whenever I see a good level one. 3 or so under lvl 20, 4-5 lvl 70-100+) 1 Dodi (lvl 30) 1 Lycro (Low lvl) 3 Shoulder buddies (lvl 50-100. One Otter, one Microraptor and one Bat looking thing. All equippable on the shoulders) I'm looking to tame a Theri the ones in my area are only about lvl 25 and they are still hard to tame. Don't know if I should tame a Bronto because they are so slow and I have no patience for them. Normally kill them on sight with my carnivore gang with no casualties. I want an Argentavis too but they are found nearer to the mountains and it's hard for my carnivores to go near there from base as the path finder is kinda bad. I got a spike wall base only. I don't fence up my tames and let them all out in the open. They usually wonder around the safe areas of the beach killing herbivores there and leveling by themselves. I haven't lost any tames when I'm offline by keeping them that way. I'm lacking in metal to make saddles for all my carnivores so I wanna move inland.
