| Lymentria falling through the world Posted: 27 May 2021 11:00 AM PDT This seems to have been a bug that's been around for literal years now. Recently got a Lymentria because moths are cute and it had nice colours. Once tamed, I flew it back home and tried to land only to have it fall through the map and into the water, teleporting me back up to where I dismounted and the Lymentria being gone. Closest to a fix I've gotten was logging out and back in to render the world and having the Lymentria back. Though, it didnt last long as the moth just fell through the ground again when I tried to land it a second time. Friend is also experiencing this issue and it only seems to happen to the Lymentria of all things. Any fixes? I cant seem to find a single person of recent note talking about this [link] [comments]  | ||

| .ini assistance - reduce spawns for an entire spawnentry bucket Posted: 27 May 2021 10:07 AM PDT Hello, So I was looking into ways of updating the .ini to reduce the affected wilds but only applying it to the specific spawnentries that control the caves. What I have found so far are ways to remove one type of dino within a certain bucket, or reduce the spawn rates of that dino compared to the other dinos within that bucket, but I really would like to find a way to reduce all the spawns in the bucket so that I don't just move the problem from boas to scorpions for example. So basically reduce no of spawns in "DinoSpawnEntriesCave1" to [10%] of normal levels. Logic says this must be possible. Does anyone know how I can do this? Please do not respond telling me that you don't have this problem on The Center as it will not help me. It has been a recorded problem on this map for solo player and unofficial for the last 5 years, so I am really just looking for assistance with an .ini command, not being told I am the only person in the world who has the issue and I should do a wild dino wipe (which of course I will do after updating the .ini)... | What is the best way to kill the king titan 3 times in a row unofficial? Posted: 27 May 2021 09:39 AM PDT I bought a cluster server a couple months back with 3 friends and spent the whole time breeding super dinos for every boss, in the last 2 weeks we ascended on island, Ragnarok (well manticore), and Aberration all on alpha and next up is Extinction, i have everything i need to kill and tame all 3 titans, im just wondering what the most efficient way is to kill the king titan back to back, kill all 3 titans and then refight and tame them to fight gamma king, then repeat for beta and alpha? Or fight each titan 3 times to collect all the trophies 3 times and then tame them to fight king titan back to back? Or tame them and upload all 3 and kill them all 3 times and download them to fight king titan back to back? Also i guess side question with 4 people for gamma and beta is it enough for 3 people to ride a titan and last person in a mek to kill king titan, and whats the best mek attachment for mek for the fight? We've been trying for 2 days to play together on Epic games with no luck, we've tried LAN, opening ports, IP options, firewall adjustments. No matter what we do we cannot connect to eachother. Posted: 26 May 2021 05:46 PM PDT 1) What are some of the things they have learned about development from Ark 1 that they plan to implement for Ark 2? 2) What version of the unreal engine will they be using and will they plan on making it available to be upgraded to newer versions unlike the unreal engine in Ark 1? 3) If they are using newer version of unreal engine, as i know the newer versions are backwards compatible are they going to be importing assets from Ark 1 into Ark 2 or are they making everything from scratch? 4) Are they going to be implementing specialized servers as they do in Ark 1? ORP, Small Tribes, etc etc? 5) Will Ark 2 be released as an early access or fully. 6) Will you be repurposing old/unpopulated servers from Ark 1 for your Ark 2 servers? 7) What kind of changes to PvP meta can we expect? EI: Cave building, base defenses, building restrictions etc etc? 8) How will the building mechanics work? Will it be snap and place as in Ark 1 or more freeform? 9) How will your anti cheating and anti meshing mechanics work in Ark 2? 10) With Ark 1 still being supported will you be expanding your customer service/GM team to handle a second game's demand? 11) What kind of production and developmental say so does Snail games have in the development of Ark 2? 12) How do you plan to balance your time properly between developmental support of Ark 1 and Ark 2? 13) Will Nitrado still be your hosting company of choice for officials? 14) Will Ark 2 be released with modding tools for the modders to utilize? 15) What kind of rates will we be looking at for release? | Any chance we could petition the devs to disable cross play on small tribes Posted: 26 May 2021 07:51 PM PDT I love ark and with this being the last dlc I'm very excited but me and my 4 buddy's are torn on to bite the bullet and play official against the mega tribes and the regular rates which would make it very hard or to play small tribes which we have been playing since extinction and have to deal with 90% of the playing using aimbot and esp. It's no secret aimbot and esp is rampant on small tribes, cross-platform ruined it, there isn't a anti cheat not that it would do much and filing reports don't do much when you can make a new account. When I say 90% I mean it you litterally have to use cheats to even play small tribes and you can see what players are on pc and console and it's 90%+ pc usually. The solution is simple keep the pc cheaters to play with themselves and turn off cross-platform or at least only enable cross with ps4 and xbox like rust did. I just don't understand what was going thru the devs minds when they thought this would be a good idea. [link] [comments]  | ||

They just want the one map we're playing on and don't want to spend $120 on an old game for content they have no plan on playing, is there a way to get just ex? I haven't been keeping up with wildcard drama for ages and my steam store shows NA for DLC because I have the season pass, and the season pass isn't available for viewing for me for some reason. Also, does wild card not see how toxic it is requiring a $120 investment in a single game for new players to be able to join their friends? [link] [comments]  | ||
