    I find that Taming Mosas is way simpler in Genesis 1. There seems to be way more of them to chose from, so finding a high-level mosa isn't too hard. What do you guys think? Sure you need more tranqs but I think it's way easier than spending days or hours looking for a good level on other maps.

    Question about taming

    When taming do I need the dinos torpidity to be nearly max out to keep it knocked out or is it just as long as the bar doesnt fall to 0?

    What single player settings would I use for the same settings as the official servers?

    I gave up on official servers a very long time ago and stopped playing (don't like the idea of my stuff getting taken if im away for a month or things getting destroyed while im away) im trying to set up my single player world rules so they are the same as the official servers (only buffing taming speed a bit) but I can't seem to get it right. I know I can disable the single player setting but even with that things still aren't the same and the biggest example of that would be the dino levels around the map as they are all super low. Im currently on The Island map.

    Follow up question. Would I need to change these settings each time if I where to swap maps?

    Would a group of say 10-15 Bigfeet (10k health 1000 damage 1000 armor helmet) stand a chance against any of the Titans? Wanna give it a shot later but don't wanna fight an unwinable battle.

    PSA: Don't do the new boss on Genesis 2 on Officials

    You've finally completed all the missions relative to the difficulty - whether that is Gamma, Beta, or Alpha, on Genesis 2. You go to do the new boss - and immediately the boss is nothing like the videos on YouTube (which are mostly done on unofficial servers or single player). The frames you get from the moment you teleport is about 5-10 FPS the entire fight.

    So you win the boss fight despite being hardly able to move your character or dinosaurs. A cutscene begins and you watch it for 5 minutes or so. And then the screen goes black - indefinitely. You are unable to do anything, not even press escape to quit the game. You eventually are forced to close the game via alt tabbing/closing Shooting Game.

    You then restart ARK and try to rejoin the server. Your character is still logged in, and it will take 5+ minutes for it to be auto kicked from this point. Upon rejoining, you will have lost your character right here. However, if not - if you transfer to another server, then come back to the same server, this is where you will lose your character instead!

    So congratulations on finishing the game, completing end game content. The reward for stopping Rockwell is to lose your character! Oh, and Wildcard is fully aware of this. If you write a ticket, they state that they DO NOT restore characters that were lost on the Genesis 2 map.

    So really, thanks for the Summer Event Wildcard. It was really great to lose everything I have done over the last month since I tried to give your game another go (after a 1.5 year break). But really this is just a warning to others, don't do the end game content unless you want to gamble your character's existence.

    How do you put color mutations on a 20/20 mutated dino?

    I have been breeding thalas for a while now and in the next few days I'll have a mutated thyla with 20 Melee and 20 health. Throughout this process I have gotten some really cool color mutations but I don't know how to get the colors onto a thyla that has the perfect mutation stacks. Also since all the good colors are on males is it possible to move a color mutation to female or does only a male offspring get a chance for the color mutation?
