| Constantly stuck on snapshot_15 Posted: 21 Aug 2021 09:52 AM PDT Hey all, so I used to play Ark a bunch right at launch, maxed out everything and did Scorched Earth (only DLC at the time I think). Now I'm trying to get back into it and every time I try to join I get stuck on snapshot_15. I've validated files tons of times, uninstalled and reinstalled Ark, and even deleted ALL of Steam and all related libraries and redownloaded it all from scratch. Still stuck on snapshot 15. My PC is a beast so I know it's not a hardware issue, and I'm hardwired directly to a router. Never ran any mods. At this point I have no idea how to get it to work. Single player works perfectly fine, so it seems to be network or server related. Official and unofficial servers get stuck. Any idea of what could be wrong? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 20 Aug 2021 01:56 PM PDT So after screwing around and planning out a fortress of epic proportions and subsequently building the basement of the base, i have since found out there is a structure limit upon placement of the last few ceilings.. i now know you can increase the structure limit on dedicated servers (which i do have setup but don't use unless playing with friends).. Long story short i really do not want to have to start over and was wondering if the save file from my xbox will cloud save and be available on my win 10 edition or if its remotely possible. | Posted: 21 Aug 2021 01:35 AM PDT So we had a non-dedicated but we had tether issues, fixed that, then tether issues in caves and that wasn't solvable for us at least so we just made a dedicated one and it fixed most issues. But now we have this issue with our XP bar, even for our dinos. So I was stuck at level 101 and my xp bar was full, saying I have 194,485.9 XP but there is no /y (the xp that is needed to level up) at all. It's just stuck at that full bar, we tried using a mindwipe tonic but it only gave me 61 of my levels back and now I'm stuck at level 61. It was perfect on the non-dedicated but not so perfect on this one. I've noticed a few of our other dinos having this issue too. The wild dinos also have levels up to 590, but no more than 600 and they are super strong lmao. A normal beaver will have around 8k health and all of our older tames and just so underpowered and will get murked. There are so many issues and I'm sorry but I've tried looking everywhere, I'm tempted to just kill my character and start a new one but idk if that will even work and I'll lose my tames. (because friend who owns the tribe won't be on for a while and he won't be able to invite me back). I do have admin privileges but I will try to help my friend with the Game ini and Game user settings ini. We did transfer our players and map when we made the dedicated server so we didn't have to start all the way over since we're somewhat new and we're pretty trash at the game lol. I have heard aberration is awesome. But that it doesnt have certain dinos because apparently if it doesnt spawn vanilla it wont spawn through PF unless griffin or elementals. Which Would be a deal breaker (no fabled theriz) Can anyone one confirm? And if thats the case what map has the most dinos that would spawn and that is decent to play. Other than Island and Rag, nothing against them, its just the ones I've already played. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 20 Aug 2021 04:06 PM PDT Hey I'm experiencing something bizarre and haven't found any kind of fix for it yet. I just re-downloaded the game after a few months and am in singleplayer. After loading into the game, groups of textures will start flickering. Sometimes it'll be a small patch of grass, or the walls, or a rock. I've noticed it mainly happens when im in my inventory. I've not got any mods or anything. Could someone help me figure out why this happens? i'll leave a video below to look at.
