How do I get rid of the host barrier? Posted: 03 Sep 2021 01:41 AM PDT This always annoys me and my friends are on my ark. I just wanna get rid of it [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 Sep 2021 09:34 AM PDT I've been searching for mosasaurs for months now, and haven't been able to find any. I play on the Island and do a lap around the whole map every day in the deep ocean. Despite this, I haven't been able to find any mosasaurs, and the ocean is overall just so empty. Is there a way to get mosasaurs to spawn without using commands? (I don't use commands as a standard for myself.) I'd greatly appreciate any suggestions and help. [link] [comments]

Moving Files from Win10 to External Harddrive. I'm stuck in a loophole with a bricked server. Posted: 02 Sep 2021 07:16 AM PDT Good day, kind explorers. I've been running my own dedicated Ark server on Windows 10 for 2 years now. I and my fellow companions are able to join the server from our Xbox Ones. So far, it has worked out well. However, as we all know, Ark with it's huge data gonads, has finally eaten up all of my available Win10 hard drive space. I have deleted all I possibly can to free up space for updates for the last 2 years, and I've finally reached my max. I am ready to transfer to an external hard drive, and found a pretty easy way to do this watching this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-AyqBreyq8. However, one of the requirements to perform this easy process is that I must have Ark completely updated in order for the "Move" option to be viable. Here's where my loophole comes in: I can't update the game because I'm out of space, and I can't move it to my external where there's plenty of space to update the game. What do I do? I would rather not uninstall/reinstall because I have data from 4 maps I'd like to keep. Has anyone run into this before? Is there a way to compress the file data on my existing hard drive? I'm willing to scrap it and start over from scratch (I personally love going to a new map without migrating any animals or armor over - makes it spicy!) but I thought I'd check in before this. At this point, my server is a brick anyway, so.... Thanks! [link] [comments] |
