    What kind of changes, if any, do you guys make to the settings?

    Personally I keep mine something like dino damage higher than 0.4, decreased taming time, disabled friendly fire, showed my location on the map, bumped dino health per lvl, couple other little things.

    Just curious if this is considered a lot of changes or generally how you cater to your own specific gameplay?

    Mega Carry

    Got my first Megalosaurus on Aberration. Going well, he was a pretty easy tame. But I noticed something. He is completely unable to carry ANY dinos. I've watched videos, and read posts. All of them mention turning on friendly fire to pick up friendlies, but nobody ever mentioned wilds. Literally can't even pick up a bulbdog, just deals like 11 damage and slobbers on it. Anybody got an idea what's wrong?

    Problem/question pertaining to deinonychus taming/breeding

    Hello! I've recently begun trying to begin a Deinonychus army on Valguero to try and use them to take down the bosses solo. I've run into a little bit of a problem though and I can't seem to easily find out what to do based on what I'm seeing online.

    I spent a long time (probably an accumulated 2 hours across 2 sessions) scouring the White Cliffs for high-level Deino eggs. It was quite annoying and after this much time, the best eggs I'd found were 2 135 eggs and a 145 egg (max level is 150 for organic dinos on this server)

    Thankfully, I ended up with a male and a female. After hatching the eggs, though, they did not gain the additional levels, like when you finish taming a dino normally, or when you hatch eggs from other dinos.

    Like the Carbonemys, for example, I tamed 2 level 150 ones, and so they end up around 226ish once fully tamed, prior to putting any levels in. And then when you breed those 2 Carbonemys, the baby is around that same level if not higher. But with these Deinonychus, they were 135 and 145 after hatched, no additional levels were added.

    I figured, maybe I need to breed these 2 in order to get the additional levels? I did try that but to my utter shock, not only did the baby not have the additional levels, but it was only level 129 when its parents were 135 and 145 base levels. See image below:

    I will say that when I was trying to hatch the egg, the temperature changed and the incubation cancelled and I had to restart it. Does that impact the level? I checked the wiki about Incubation (https://ark.fandom.com/wiki/Incubation) and did not see anything about that.

    The main reason this confuses me is because I saw this video of a guy showing how you can solo the bosses on Valguero with Deinonychus (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtE-llS2AGA), and his Deinos were around 226ish, which I figured sounded normal, if the Deinos get those additional levels. Or perhaps he just leveled the shit out of them before taking them to the bossfights? I sure hope that isn't it!

    Still would love to know how I can avoid babies being lower level in the future, and also whether or not there's a way for me to get my Deinos to get those additional levels. Thanks for reading!

    Wyvern Egg

    Just managed to nab my first wyvern egg on Ragnarok. Got a poison one it says from 110 parents. Now my two questions are, how long till that nest respawns an egg, and will it always be a poison egg? I should add I am pretty new at this. Around 60 hours played.

    Questions about levels

    So I have recent just started playing Ark, first as SP, then with 2 friends. Now I wanted to try and breed and learning that. I have watch a lot of videoes about it and I think I understand it.

    So my questions are. What is the max level a dino can be? On officiel it say 450, but we play with other settings, so our wild dinos can be 300 does that mean its 900 as max? Im asking because I dont wanna loose any of those 88 self leveled levels after im done breeding.

    The other question I have is, is there some kind of line I can add in our ini file to make all the wild dinos equal levels? Because finding those max level dinos with great stats could take a while and then the breeding that also would take ages.

    PVP building tips

    Hey,

    So I have been playing on PVP for about a month and no matter what I do, I cannot keep a base going for more than a few days. We are on a boosted server so getting tek level with tons of turrets is not hard, but apparently 60 turrents and tripple thick walls is not enough to stop shit. Any building advice that could at least make it costly to raid me out there? My longest lasting base was an underwater base where I had the vacuum chambers surrounded by tek, with a tek shield and 30 tek turrets with unlimited ammo (ammo box with 1 million shards)
