New to Ark and loving it so far!

Im new to ARK.. I'm actually just playing the base game. I just tamed a Pteranodon, it's weight is at 136.0 but when ever I fly with him his weight icon goes up as you can see in the pictures my characters weight isn't even that high up. Do I have to increase its weight level? [PS4]
I’m a solo player on small tribes and I just looted this shadowmane, I’ve never really used them before so I was wondering if this was any good and what I should use it for, if I should use it to run genesis mission or things like that

Underwater phobia help?

So I got a stupid question, but it's bothered me enough into making my first post on this subreddit: does anyone else have a deep fear of the deep sea? If so, how do you deal with it? Is there a way, like a mod or certain settings, that make it easier?

I'm fine with more shallow waters, like Viking Bay on Ragnarok, but the deeper the water gets, the more my bathophobia/thalassaphobia kicks into high gear and I eventually either hug the coast or just yeet out of the water entirely, which sucks because I want to go artifact hunting but...some are in deep underwater caves. :/

For me, it's either the time I tried tranqing an alpha carno that got stuck near my base (rip all those tranqs) or the time I saw a wild Dino that was almost max level that I wanted to tame and thought "yes! I'm gonna let it be so that it'll naturally level THEN I'll come back when it's max level and tame it." Thinking about it still makes me facepalm.

PSA Tame higher level dinos

Excluding your first flyer or your first dino for a specific resource like doed or anky just tame higher level dinos. Seriously the amount of effort to tame a lvl 100 compared to a lvl 150 is negligible and you gain ~75 lvls post tame. Please just tame higher lvl dinos im tired of people being like can my dog shit lvl 25 Rex solo the alpha broodmother or my complete crap lvl 50 raptor take on an alpha carno. Anything under lvl100 is just not worth it at all. You can do better!
