    Abberation is love!

    I played almost all expansions of Ark (except Ragnarok and Genesis) and i gotta say Aberration is the one i enjoyed most. Maybe it is because Aberration was the first map i ever played, but the other maps (especially "The Island" and "The Center") never actually captivated me for long. It mainly ended up in me taming what i needed and then uploading them and bring them to my Valguero Base, which i use as a central dino storage and breeding space.

    The reason why i prefer Aberration is probably, because getting shit done (apart from bossing) there just felt more "rewarding" in a "the fruit that hangs highest in the tree tastes best" kinda way. I remember preparing my first trek down to get a rock drake egg. A friend and i prepared for like a week (getting suits, taming spinos getting good light pets, building a hatching room for the eggs etc.) and then we traveled from our base (at the fertile lake) down through basically all regions just to get our asses handed to us by 20 rock drakes. Took us 3 more weeks to just get one egg, by then we travelled down there with 2 high lvl karkinos (took us 4 hours) and i loved it. The feeling of accomplishment was insane.

    Starting out on Genesis I atm and so far its pretty nice, pretty stoked about getting my hands on the magma drake.

    Whats your opinion? What map has that special place in your heart and why?

    Guys I tamed my first Rex in this game! And I don't think it's a very good achievement bcuz my base is near the rex spawn, and in mobile ark you can take a legendary bow in start

    How do you stack a single stat above 20 mutations?

    As the title says. How do you get a stat to mutate passed 20? Is it the same as getting it to 20 and then just a reduced chance? Or is a there a better way to do it?

    single player wont load on pc

    hey guys, I'm a regular ark player on ps4 but recently tried switching to pc. My pc is up to date with everything and my system surpasses the minimum requirements for ark. I have restarted steam and my PC to no avail. It will load to a certain point then returns to the single player menu screen. I have no mods and I've tried validating the game in steam which says its fine. Short of reinstalling the game is there anything else that might be wrong?

    Need some advice

    I wanna get back into ark again so I plan on starting a new solo game, do yall have any advice for early game/ late game that u wish you knew before? I play on ps4 if that changes anything (I know basically nothing about later game ark so :) )

    I built my on water platforms out in the ocean and beneath my base there are rising Stalagmite like terrain perfect for clipping a cliff platform. Does anybody know if this is viable? Can i place cliff platforms underwater?

    Looking to pay for player/ Tribe for boss fight.

    I need tek, been playing this game for 5+ years and haven't been able to get to tek tier as i always get raided, decimated or straight up bullied!! Im looking to pay to get in on a boss fight so i can unlock tek tier. To clarify; you'll be using your resources for the fight, ill just be joining your tribe then and there to minimally partake (I'll just be a fly in the wall, your doing the work) HMU seriously.

    Direwolf pack size question

    I've spent a lot of time breeding up some mutated direwolves to take through the hard ice cave, and I think I'm finally ready.

    I took a pack of 5 (1 male, 4 females) on a murder spree from my Hidden Lake base to the Redwoods, and back. When unmounted, I would see two different wolves labeled as "Pack Leader," and when I mounted one and tried to howl, the rest of the pack would not howl and my wolf still got the buff. It seemed like the rest of the pack was linked to the other Pack Leader.

    Is the ideal pack size 4 or 5? I thought the max pack bonus was +4 which means you need 5, but the double Pack Leader thing is making me question that.

    Cant figure out how to upload character.

    So we were playing on the island. We started another server on ragnarok just to do another island. Wanted to bring our toons with us but when we go to an obelisk, the option to upload survivor isnt there. We can upload from the ragnarok server but that doesnt help. I checked the server settings and none of the options that would prevent upload are checked. Ive been googling like crazy but all of the posts are from 5ish years ago and didnt have any solutions.

    Better fofr pure HC aberration, spino or megalo

    This is question for _hardcore_ player suggestion for this map. Time limit is only single motnh, with SS hatchery and nanny enabled, which would would be better for boss battle.No creatures from ohet maps would be allowed

    This Is gonna be_heavily modded up rockwell_ it will do 25% more damage, but no reductions? Whick one would you recommend for the main attac dinos

    This is purely single player but I wanted to boosy tha rockwell bost due to my own reason. Even defeatin gamma to start with would be great

    PS I cant fix the typo in topic, but the'probblem' os saod in decription. Im using mod that boosts bots and wanna beat that in hardcore for LOLs
