I have been using a ps4 for a dedicated server, so me and my friends can play without a tether. however, I cant seem to find a way to upload my survivor without joining a server. | Posted: 13 Oct 2021 10:55 AM PDT Hello everyone, I've been playing ark for a few months now, Single Player with no paid content. I started on the island and just recently left for Ragnorok (I wanted to go to Scorched Earth, but being broke I settled for the free map). Anyways, I got to Rag and forgot some things I needed on the Island and right after I uploaded my player, my game crashed. After loading it back up, my player and inventory was fine, but I got back to Rag and all of my stored stuff in a single crate (and a few walls) had disappeared. I was very upset, but let it go. A few hours later I was flying around and found my old body (a different survivor) "sleeping", next to a copy of my Argy and an untamed Theri with the levels of the one I tamed before the game crashed. On this survivor is all of the stuff I had put in the storage, so that was a huge relief I was able to get it back. So the only thing I actually lost is the Theri I had cryoed. Sorry if this is confusing. TLDR; I lost all the stuff I had stored just before transfer and crash only to recover all of it on an old body except for the cryoed dino. What can I do to protect myself from something like this happening again? I want to keep transferring but I'm afraid of losing more stuff, and for good this time.. [link] [comments]  |
