Before anyone says, i am not going to be using any method that involves skipping the tek cave or am i going to be using other creatures. | New Ark player trying to figure out ark on xbox coop Posted: 26 Oct 2021 09:48 AM PDT I'm playing ark with my son and loving it. It's been a blast except for some minor annoyances. We've been mauled and destroyed by anything and everything, and even got a good jump scare out of dying to my first raptor. In all I'm loving the game and so is my son. But I'm hunting to find out if I'm doing something wrong while we're playing because there's some odd bugs that I can't seem to find searching anywhere (official ark forums or here - maybe IDK what to search for) So I figured I'd ask. While playing coop (xbox series x) we've noticed that the inputs from one player overlay the other. For instance if we're both in our inventory, we have to let one person go then exit the inventory, and the other person can go. And IFF you're in your inventory while the other player is, 99% of the time, the hold A to transfer a stack functionality just stops working. You have to either select it with a then move to the other inventory then click a again, or exit the inventory screen and re-enter it to regain that functionality. We've also had several other glitches in ark such as falling through maps, and glitching through walls (we completely cheated past the caves because we seriously couldn't play the caves without dying almost instantly due to some kind of glitch or bug - open work works great... we just ignore the caves) I have read that Wildcard only cares about fixing things on their official servers, and we're completely playing ark wrong or something ... but is there something on the xbox controls I can do to fix this specific inventory bug? We're on scorched earth and fighting through ark has been a blast, but this one specific issue makes managing most anything on the game with inventories highly frustrating. Also 2 more minor questions - How do you track your oil wells you place? I was going to put a dino with a transponder node next to it ... and then let them mark it... Then I found out that those transponder nodes do not survive if you quit the game and restart it ... And 3 is there any way to get a proper gps in ark that will track your dinos on xbox? I've got dinos all over scorched earth we've abandoned on accident due to them just not pathing well ... at all (dinos / creatures that can't step over rocks often get caught in them, and if you don't stop and look back every 5 seconds you lose them - the swamps on the island were a nightmare ... so many lost sarcos) [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 25 Oct 2021 08:26 PM PDT Im playing on abberation singleplayer, with max difficulty on and diffculty set to 1(max for xbox one) and im trying to find high level dinos for taming, the problem being the fact that 90ish percent of every dino i see is under level 20. sure ill ocassinaly see a 50 or an 85 but nothing that screams come tranq arrow me in the face. I've been having graphical issues where it stutters constantly, i get generally high FPS but my 1% low is always below like 10 FPS. I play on epic 1440p and i even tried changing that to medium 1080p and i still get stutters. I have a 3080 Ti and im wondering if this is normal for other high end players or not. | Posted: 25 Oct 2021 04:58 PM PDT Up until yesterday I had no issues with there always being Easter-colored dinos roaming around my sp. When I logged in I did a destroywilddinos as I usually do to get new dinos spawning in. I flew around quite a bit and saw zero event dinos, so I did another wipe, flew around again, nothing. I've tried all I can think of, from the wiping to deleting my sp save data to uninstalling/reinstalling to no avail. Did they change how event colors work on sp servers? [link] [comments]  | ||
