| Weird stuttering with the megachelon Posted: 23 Oct 2021 10:21 PM PDT So I have a dedicated server with ASM and for some reason only with the Megachelon when it's surfaced, it stutters forward every few seconds when I move, but being submerged is fine. There can be nothing on it, no mods, other water mounts work fine, etc. What's even weirder is that to others it looks normal, it's just stuttering for me. | Question about hosting a cluster Posted: 23 Oct 2021 04:52 PM PDT So im hosting a cluster for me and my friends. With a max player amount per map set on 15. I wanna have The Island, Ragnarok, Valguero, Extinction and Abberation on my cluster. Now the thing is we were thinking that we will only start other maps up like Ragnarok and Extinction for example when someone was going there. Since i only have 16 gb of ram with a ryzen 3600 on my computer and i want to be able to play at the same time. Could my computer pull off playing ark and having like 2-3 servers open at a time? Obviously probably mostly 1 map like The Island but like could i host 2-3 servers? [link] [comments]  | ||
| Insane keyboard only input lag in Ark Posted: 23 Oct 2021 01:22 PM PDT Edit: I was able to get it to work well, i set it to not be full screen and now on windowed mode it works fine, no problems of input lag. Guess I should have tested that one out, in hindsight makes sense. But yeah, in windowed mode it works. I just downloaded Ark a few hours ago on PC with Xbox Game Pass, and as soon as I started playing I realized there is an huge input lag only on the keyboard input, like 1 full second between pressing a key and the character actually doing it. Mouse works fine, no input lag at all. I also tested an xbox controller that I have, it also works just fine, no input lag at all. It is just the keyboard that has this huge delay, it's unplayable on it. Also, I tried another keyboard I have, the same issue applies, both keyboards are wired. This issue only happens on Ark, I tested a few other games and everything runs smoothly. I'm playing in a singleplayer world running locally. Also my computer can run Ark just fine with over 120fps, it isnt a sluggish PC. I tried all sorts of settings combinations, all the way from Ultra to Lowest, makes no difference. Anyone has had this problem or know how to fix? I searched around a lot, but it's always the same suggestions of checking the keyboard, checking if the computer can run it and such, all that is fine. thanks in advance [link] [comments]  | ||

Just checked some ark servers websites and I feel like there wasn't a single server with no more than 30 players. Could be I'm checking at the wrong time. Basically my question is if there's any good, active, friendly unofficial servers with PvP or PvPvE with possible modded content? [link] [comments]  |
