Some time ago I started saving the replies that people really seemed to like (judging by upvotes and feedback). That way I could just copy paste them as replies to a question I've seen asked before. Then I started organizing them in google docs and linking that while referring them to a specific section. Because why just answer the question they did ask when I can give them a directory of answers to questions they might also ask. It's developed over time into an exhaustive (verbose and in depth write ups) guide. Previously this was unpublished and therefor not searchable/only accessible to those who were given direct links. But with some editions and editing I did this morning I decided to publish/make publicly available. I think it's progressed far enough that it merits such. This is just a notification to any who might have interest in it of this change. You can find the guide here. I know there is a thing against self-promotion on here. But I don't think this falls within that category. I get nothing tangible out of this. Not making any money off of it. Not in anyway looking for notoriety, credit or anything like that. It's just something one can bookmark and utilize as they find it useful to do so. Moreover I feel it's efficient. As it answers a lot of questions that are frequently asked on this very subreddit. Posted: 14 Nov 2021 04:23 AM PST Hi All, I have had Ark for a long time now but never beaten the game properly and moved from one map to the next. So I decided that I want to do this and finally complete the game before Ark 2 gets released. I know I most likely have a lot of time as no real date has been announced, but still, I would like to have it complete before then. I am wondering if anyone out there is willing to help me with this, I have a rough idea of what I need to do, As in what Dino's need to be tamed, what I need to breed and get mutation on for boss fights, however its just time and it taking forever with just myself. I don't want anyone joining telling me what to do, I would like a person or a few people to help in doing things together to get it done a bit faster and make the Artifact cave and boss fight a tiny bit easier. I don't mind being given advice on how to do things better or to say that will not work because of this and that as that helps me understand the game better. I have servers set up for all the maps that are relevant (Offical maps) The Island, Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, Genesis Part 1 & Genesis Part 2 All servers/maps are running the below settings and mods Settings 4 x Taming & 2 x Harvest Mods Structures Plus (S+), Ark Additions: Domination Rex, Death Recovery Mod, Upgrade Station, Ultra Stacks, Eco's Empires - Vikings, Addition Emotes, Dino Storage v2, Crafting Skill Potion & Super Spyglass Plus If anyone is interested let me know via PM. | Suggestion, make the Mystic Oil actually Mystic oil Posted: 14 Nov 2021 05:48 PM PST The Liopleurodon buff is nice, but its only realistically accessible on 2 maps, valguero... good luck lol, and most people don't even know it exists on gen 2. It would make a lot more sense in my opinion to make the oil a drop. Make it spoil in 6 hours (Like the buff normally would) but its a physical item that you can transfer/refrigerate [link] [comments] | ||
