- Is anyone having trouble completing the astrodelphus mission?

- My group skipped Scorched Earth, so screwing around on it myself. So far, the deadliest thing I've found is..... my garden.

- I got boned one too many times
- Any way to turn off friendly fire on PvP servers?
- 100 Days on Aberration
- All of my active mods reset every time I close the "host/local" window

| Posted: 16 Nov 2021 01:47 PM PST I'm looking for a method of restoring the map discovery progress. Every time steam fails to locate my files, it resets the local map progress. Anyone know if it's possible to replace a file to get the full map visible again? Similar to an .ini? I hate to have to go fly around in creative mode every time. Thanks [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 15 Nov 2021 05:35 PM PST Folks I played with never did SE for whatever reason, we got caught up in other maps. Now that it's all over and done with, I decided to fire up a Scorched Earth and poke around. So this "special" gem of a WildCode troll is probably old news to many, but I think my eyes are now permanently stuck in the "rolled" position.... any new folks to the game or new to SE, learn from my (searing) pain.... I made a greenhouse. I entered the greenhouse. I nearly died in the greenhouse. Finishing the roof - from the inside - I see I have the "Major Overheating" large flame debuff. This is a surprise, as I have like 50 Fort and am wearing two pieces of advanced Ghille with the rest Desert Cloth and can jog around happily in like 122dF, but ok, whatever. I popped a Calien Soup and placed the rest of the roof tiles. Then I see my health is draining. Rapidly. Like 3-5 points per second rapidly. I bail out barely in time. After healing I poke my nose back in. Inside the greenhouse, the temp reads as 84dF. Yet I again within seconds of entering not only get the large flame debuff.... but immediately start dying again. There's no additional debuff on the screen, nothing that indicates anything extra nasty is happening, no info at all in true WildCode style. Okay, fine, looks like we'll be doing our farming at night. HAHA NOPE SAME THING HAPPENS AT NIGHT IN THE DARK IN 38 F DEGREE WEATHER 500 HYPER RESIST AND CALIEN SOUP ACTIVE THAT'S NOT HOW HEAT WORKS, WILDCODE No shit, at like 1 AM under a cloudless starry sky, outside the greenhouse I have the snowflake minor cold debuff, inside the greenhouse the temp still reads as below forty degrees Farenheit, yet still I have the major flame debuff on my screen and my health is draining faster than the hope in a Detroit Lions fan's heart. So the question part of this is, What the shit? Since this seems to be some magic invisible debuff that bypasses the actual environment, will ANYTHING help? Does any amount of Hyperthermal prevent this? How the actual fuck am I supposed to do anything in there, take the roof off every time I want to adjust something....? lolsigh [link] [comments] | ||

We have rented a server through G-Portal, and play on the PS5. So we have set the server up as pvp, as, from what I've read, that gives flyers the ability to pick up and carry wild dinos etc, so we'd like to stay pvp of possible. I've read that your can set the PvE servers to carry dinos with flyers as well, but lots of posts say this is buggy for some reason. So if your have experience with this setting, please let me know. We would prefer to stay pvp, bit if carrying wild dinos work well in pve, maybe we should change to that? So now we wonder if there is a any server settings that would allow us not to damage tribemates for tamed dinos in PvP. It's very chaotic at times when we get into fights, and we'd rather not kill our own dinos if possible. Any assistance appreciated. [link] [comments] | ||
