| Does ARK have a completable singleplayer / multiplayer STORY in it? Posted: 05 Nov 2021 09:33 AM PDT I have seen some ARK cutscenes and it got me thinking, does ARK: Survival Evolved have a completable story (that is not insanely difficult to get) that has an ending like example. Subnautica? Subnautica is mostly crafting and exploring, but it also has an incredible story. This is the case with Raft too (although its not completed yet fully) So does ARK: Survival Evolved have a story that I can complete by crafting and making my character stronger with loot and weapons? I suffer from Misophonia and the eating sounds in this game nearly made me loose my shit. When you put fertilized eggs it the egg incubator at the correct temp. it will boost the haching speed and woll be able to hatch it a little bit sooner... I think (not 100% sure) there is a mating boost of so.e sort aswell (not mate boosted for more dmg end resistance). Now my question. Is there any boosts for gestation period? Like some hiddwn feature of a specific Dino to shorten the gestation period? I am aware of the Gen2 missions that gives a variety of boost, bur I don't want to travel everyday with 20+ dinos and leave them unattended on a other map. | My Friends ARK keep reverting to an older version number Posted: 04 Nov 2021 07:02 PM PDT One of my friends is having issues with the game working- then the next time she gets on the version number isn't the current patch and she has to re-veriify her game files and sometimes that works and sometimes it takes more than once, even if the game hasn't updated it will do this. She also tried reinstalling the game completely and the issue persists. I googled it and haven't found a solution yet but I'm still looking. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Posted: 04 Nov 2021 04:51 PM PDT I recently decided to give Ark a go again but immediately noticed some strange graphical glitches upon loading up my singleplayer map. Almost all objects and dinosaurs are surrounded by an aura-like series of grainy lines at their base. When dinosaurs walk, this "aura" appears around each of their feet while they are touching the ground, but disappears as their feet rise. I've tinkered with almost all of the in-game settings as well as those in Radeon software to no avail. Any ideas regarding the cause of this glitch alongside possible fixes? [link] [comments]  | ||
