I tamed 4 parasaurs, 9 dilos and a trike and upgraded their health and melee only. Aggression set to passive. | How would overqualified kibble work? Posted: 08 Nov 2021 09:44 AM PST So, throughout using kibble, I've just crafted the preferred kibble type. However, with the... easy gathering of the golden egg, I've found that I can just cheese extraordinary kibble. But I'm confused, because I can't find it on the wiki, but would for example, a Dino that 'prefers' exceptional kibble be tamed even more effectively with extraordinary kibble? | Returned to Ark - The graphics are crap now?? Posted: 07 Nov 2021 01:32 PM PST After a hiatus of about 8 months, I returned to Ark and for some strange reason, the graphics are suddenly not at all as good as previously. A few months ago, I could walk up to a Thylacoleo and see its face very clearly, now it is rather blurry. Even doors and walls look so much lower in quality when viewed up close, compared to screenshots from about 1 year ago. I have no new mods and changed nothing, even tried uninstalling all mods just to see if it was an issue with those. I have tried just about every setting in-game, validated the game in Steam, tried re-installing the game, tried running it through both Steam and GeoForce Experience with recommended settings. LOD settings and resolution slider in the options menu in-game are all the way up. Nothing works, the quality stays kinda low/mid-level instead of the high/Epic I remember. Edit: A friend read this and sent me a message asking me if I checked WHAT GeoForce was optimizing and it seems that it was actually optimizing for performance and NOT Graphics quality" and after changing it to HQ the textures/LODs are much better...
