    TIFU by letting a wild unicorn carry me straight into the ocean to die.

    So I found my first unicorn today. Saw it in the distance while making a corpse run along the beach to (hopefully) recover my sarco from the wild baryonyx that had stunned me off of my mount on the way home and murdered me horribly. Took a look around, and the area seemed to be free of hostiles, so I think to myself, "I can afford a slight detour back to base to drop this thing off," readied my taming food, and hopped on its back. Naturally, it made an immediate beeline for the ocean. Silly me figures it's not worth getting off and messing up my taming effectiveness; surely it'll turn around before it gets too deep! "Any second now. Aaaaany- Aaaaand here come the megalodons. FUCK FUCK FUCK-"

    The worst part is that I had my argentavis with me. There was no reason this had to go down like it did. I could have picked it up and taken it somewhere safe to tame, but nope! I got lazy and made every wrong decision possible. Now my unicorn is fish food. Rest in peace, you stupid mutant horse.

    I was searching for Dunkleosteus and this pops up on the wiki. it says there's a cave there, but I cant for the life of me find.

    How to find my lost baby

    Being a total noob at this game a mate decided to give me a whole set of top-tier dinos.

    I have played conan exiles, so I'm used to the thralls just returning to base every server reset...

    ​

    so, I set the gifted T-Rex to Agressive and just let him do his business... 8 hour later I log back on and the rex is gone.. checked the event log and he's not dead.. he's just .. gone..

    So, any tips on how to find him?

    I built a massive building. I accidentally placed a single wooden pillar in the middle of the floor with nothing on it. I destroyed the pillar and half the building collapsed. How does this make sense?

    As per title. I built an entire structure. It took a full day. I placed a single wooden pillar in the middle of the floor. It was supporting nothing. It was the last thing I built. The building existed fine without it.

    The moment I destroyed it, it led to a chain reaction that destroyed half my building. The whole thing is effictively ruined. I didn't destroy the wrong thing. There were no other wooden pillars in the entire structure, so I didn't accidentally destroy an important wooden pillar instead. Somehow this pillar I literally just placed and that had nothing on it somehow became load bearing to a structure that existed before it did?

    How on earth can that happen? How the hell am I supposed to build in this game if that can happen at any moment. My desire to play the game has just plummeted.

    Why are spiders so sh-t

    Talking Araneo here, it doesn't even matter what stat or ability we refer to. Lets say a spider has 255 points in melee, it would do a whopping 137 damage.. worse than a fresh tamed rex of any lvl past like 50, and that is the highest it literally can be before the servers force reset it, and to make it even worse, that topor they do DOESN'T scale with melee, so it doesn't matter if you have a billion damage or 1, you will do 10 topor for one attack.

    Worse still is hp, a 255 perfect spider.. one that you bred like a mad man... has a whopping 7800 hp, 10k ish if you imprint.

    I understand the spiders are not supposed to be killing machines, but at the very least their damage should scale the topor, so a spider biting for a hundred, would do a hundred damage. That way they can be used for crouch defense or something with the cob webs

    I'm playing on a ps4 and its so bad its virtually unplayable. Any fix ideas? I've reset the map saves, started a new character and uninstalled/reinstalled the game with no luck, id hoped it was just because its a new map but that dosnt seem to be the problem either. All other maps on new and old saves work just fine
