| new player!! where do I start!! Posted: 12 Apr 2022 02:12 AM PDT Hi I just got the game I've never actually gotten into ark but I want to tame dinos and build a cool base! I remember playing this game a while ago and just running around and dying to the small dinosaurs over and over again. There's a lot of stuff cluttering my screen, settings, inventory and everytime I push a button it seems I gather 50 new items which I have no idea what any do. I mean after I got past the time when I got killed constantly and I was able to travel around a bit on a raft, everything just seemed so strange, new, awesome, and eye-opening. | How do you find your Dinos again? Posted: 12 Apr 2022 12:55 AM PDT Relatively new playing on the island on PS4. Wandering is always turned off. I lost a baryonix in swamp land when it decided to chase one of those leaping crocodiles. I know it's still alive I just can't find it. That was 2 weeks ago. Last week I left a little fella on top of a high rock for a minute with no way anyone went near it, I turned around and it was gone. I found it about 40 minutes later randomly when I was standing at the water's edge some 10 minutes away. It was just blissfully going down the river, passed me, and kept going until I stopped it. Now I had a spino out in the ocean, jumped off it to get some oil, turned around and gone. Like bruh, whyyyyy? Nothing was even near me. I searched all over the region for it with no sighting. What's the point of bringing any Dinos to do anything when they take off for no reason when all the settings are set to not move? [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 11 Apr 2022 01:06 PM PDT Does anyone know if there are any maps that do not have any spawn on them? I would like a map with no spawn, so that I can completely customize the spawn without having to go through the ini and remove every single spawn by hand. I have specific things in mind for an RP server and (from what I was told) using the ini to change spawns causes a fair bit of lag if you do it on the scale I would need. Hoping for a map with no dino spawns at all, and preferably no structures. At least, no sci-fi type structures. [link] [comments] |

I have tried queztal bases on genesis, underwater vaults, and etc. they all dont seem to last, am i doing something wrong? i am sure there is a way to live as a solo successfully for atleast for a couple of months [link] [comments] |

| Ovis keep falling through the ground and dying Posted: 11 Apr 2022 02:32 PM PDT I have already searched on Google to figure out what is going on, but can't quite seem to find a solution (admittedly, I am bad at googling things). I want so badly to set my ovis on wander (separate enclosures for rams and ewes), but they keep clipping through the ground and falling to their deaths. It's a constant battle to keep them from dying and I would rather be doing anything else. It's worth noting that I am on PC, using cheats (just having fun in sandbox mode), and have needed to get the Revive My Dino mod because of this issue. Luckily I can revive my dinos thanks to that mod, but it's such an obnoxious interruption to my game play as they're often dying in places that require the ghost cheat active and lots of searching. I have placed metal foundations underneath the enclosures in an effort to stop this from happening, but they just clip through those, too. Is there ANY way to allow my sheep to wander without them clipping through?? I can't be the only one struggling with this, and I can only imagine how ungodly infuriating this must be for people not using cheats or mods. [link] [comments] |

I am gonna be using a couple mods, and I am gonna be editing this post, to announce the news in the playthrough. I will describe each day, from waking up on the beach to ascending off the Island. I plan on just taking an imprinted raptor, some food, water, bug repellent, a pike, a crossbow and some med brews. Done so far: So far I have copied the save folder and config and transferred it to new PC it was looking good but then upon booting up the game it crashes. I then went on to check game file integrity it still crashes. Any help on how to transfer saves or fix crashing? [link] [comments] |
