| just spent 5 hours collecting 30 metal Posted: 02 May 2022 05:40 PM PDT So I ventured to the volcano this morning, out of curiosity. I found strange black rocks and began to mine them. Metal! Gods be praised! My axe breaks and I descend to repair. I return to collect my fill and head home. As I'm soaring the skies, I decided to take a swim with my pelagornis. As I'm going downstream towards the base, a level 80 Tek Rex appears and blows me off. Im trapped in the water, and get mauled. I try in vain to access my stuff, dying several times along the way. I tame a pteradon and grind for a saddle. 2 hours later, I craft it and begin the long journey. The Tek Rex is still there, on guard. I managed to lure him away and retrieve my stuff. Moral of the story, always go straight home [link] [comments] | ||
