Fog glitch making squares flickers across the screen Posted: 22 Mar 2019 09:25 AM PDT First off, yeah i tried to take away the fog with mods, none of them did. If any of you have a tip, or idea or anything, i'd love it. My specs are more than enough to run the game, it runs in epic without problems The problem is such: when in the redwood and there's fog, flashing squares will flicker/flash everywhere in the tree's leaves. My guess is that the fog doesn't 'exist' close to objects like shown in this image, at the edge of the argentavis's head, and as the tree's canopy keeps moving a bit, it creates flickering ugly big squares, i wouldn't mind if it was just ugly, but it really keeps throwing me off cause they move around, it's really annoying. as of the screens of the bug itself that's it: screen 3 and 4 were taken a few moments apart, you can see the squares do move, they're not static, they appear randomly seemingly [link] [comments] | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

I go around all the rivers in the island and killing all of the animals on land . Nothing works . I dont find anything higher then level 70 but i am aiming lvl 115 and up . Ragnarok Griffin Spawn Command glitch? Posted: 22 Mar 2019 12:30 PM PDT I've forgotten when it was that genders were applied to wild-spawn Griffins on the Ragnarok map. With that being said, I've also noticed something when I attempted to spawn a Griffin using the admin commands (blueprint path and such). The Griffin spawned via admin commands have no genders, very much unlike their wild-spawned kin in their native Ragnarok map. How well-known is this glitch? Is there a completely separate spawn command for gendered Griffins available, as the sole spawn command I keep finding all throughout the internet keep giving me the genderless Griffins? Also, the advice I'm getting is to "add link flair after submitting," but...how exactly is this done? Is it done automatically when I check the box to show my flair in this sub? Teleporters keep losing dinos... Posted: 22 Mar 2019 12:17 PM PDT So I'm the last couple days I have lost dinos that I teleport with me. I arrive at the destination but Dino never shows up. First was a pair of argies leveled to 4K weight and carrying resources. I can live with that. Yesterday I lost me 185 event fire wyvern. This one bothers me since even if I did submit a ticket I wouldn't get the colors again. Is this happening to anyone else?? What is overkill for rex stats on boss fights? Posted: 22 Mar 2019 02:03 AM PDT I ran into an issue to where I traded for a super rex to boss with but I've never done a boss fight before! Most posts say 25-40k hp and 600-1000% damage for alphas... But modern super rexes crush those numbers at base! So I guess what I'm asking is... How much HP is too much to where HP doesn't make a difference? When should I just pump raw damage? Posted: 22 Mar 2019 09:57 AM PDT After searching, I can't find any clear answer on this so I thought I would post here. I've only ascended on single player and when I do I lose all my progress. From what I have seen, on videos when you ascend on official , it gives you the option to download your character and you can play on, you lose nothing but I haven't seen what happens on unofficial. So long story short, we play unofficial but we all play solo,there is no tribes whatsoever as in you can't add anyone to the tribe. I've been focusing on bosses and want to ascend however, I'm afraid of losing my character if I do so. Basically, will I have any issues ascending on a solo unofficial server. I am aware that an admin can sort any issues out but the guy is very busy with life stuff so hasn't much time for admin. Thanks. Its all black so its Named Erebus(I name after Greek/Roman/Egyptian/Norse gods). I ended up leveling him up to 10k health, 6k stamina, 555 Melee, 1k Weight. Its a male so it will probably be my new breeding male. Thoughts? Posted: 22 Mar 2019 08:50 AM PDT Having a timer that you can change each imprint. Setting the time till next imprint from 3 hours to 24 hours. Each imprint will be scaled to its appropriate length for example if normally an imprint is 3% for 12 hours then for 24 hours the imprint is 6% You could have it so that the imprint timer cannot exceed maturation period of course and give a biffer period before raise where you cannot set a imprint. Think this would allow breeders to have better quality of life. Rather than having to log in twice a day or having a tribemate cryo it. Boss Difficulty with with varying Max wild Dino Lvl hosting types. Some numbers Posted: 21 Mar 2019 04:25 PM PDT So over time me and apparently lots of other players have asked themselves how Boss difficulty scales with Server Difficulty, Hosting type and/or Singeplayer Settings. As i host a Server for myself that started as Singleplayer, turned into non-dedicated Hosting and is now ASM Dedicated, all while preparing to fight bosses i tried to inform myself. The problem is that it is near impossible to find reliable information. Official statements are rare, Player statements conflicting. Some of the things that were stated officially or inofficially are: -Boss difficulty scales with Server Difficulty (Max wild Dino Lvl) -Boss difficulty is decreased for Singleplayer and non-dedicated Servers (HP and DMG of the Boss nerfed by 2/3) -Singleplayer Settings (An option that is ticked when you start a new Singleplayer or non-dedicated Game) reduces Boss Strength -The Bosses stats increase with Server Difficulty What i did to test that was Host a game as Singeplayer, summon a 120 Rex (8140,1 HP 261,1% Dmg), Max lvl it in HP and Dmg (31437 HP 349,8% Dmg), put a primitve Saddle on it, park it at the Green Obelisk and save the server files. From there i started the game with 9 different settings and attempted the Gamma Broodmother. The Setting were as follows: -Singleplayer MaxwildDinolvl 30 and 120 without Singleplayersettings enabled -Singleplayer MaxwildDinolvl 120 with Singleplayersettings enabled -Non-dedicated Server MaxwildDinolvl 30 and 120 without Singleplayersettings enabled -Non-dedicated Server MaxwildDinolvl 120 with Singleplayersettings enabled -Dedicated Server via ASM MaxwildDinolvl 30 and 120 without Singleplayersettings enabled -Dedicated Server via ASM MaxwildDinolvl 120 with Singleplayersettings enabled Each fight i used the Superspyglass Mod to Check HP and lvl of the Broodmother and Floating Damage Numbers to see the Damage my Rex did to her and the Damage she did to my Rex. I also wrote down the little Spiderlings Levels. The results were as follows. Maxwilddino Lvl 30, no Singeplayersettings enabled

To summarize: I could not find a difference in Boss difficulty between hosting types. No Trace of the proclaimed 2/3 decrease of Boss Dmg and HP, which i think was part of some patch notes? Serverdifficulty increases Boss difficulty, but not via HP Gains (HP always 324k), but via either increased Damage or some kind of Armor Penetration Buff (Superspyglass shows 0 as Boss Melee Dmg). The damage the Boss takes is also reduced with increasing Server difficulty to further increase difficulty. Singleplayer Setting do NOT decrease the Bosses Strength. What it does (besides all the taming/breeding/gathering Multis), is increasing per leveled up Stat gains for tamed Dino. My Rex went from about 30k HP and 350% Dmg to 58k DMG and 605% Dmg without any interaction on my part. So Bosses get easier because your tames get stronger. I hope this is of some help to someone. Have you seen any tusos on the island? Posted: 21 Mar 2019 10:30 PM PDT Anyone having any issues getting tuso tentacles on the island? I've cleared the caverns of lost hope about a dozen times and the entire ocean at least four times by now and I haven't seen a single tuso. A buddy of mine on the same server has been looking for them too and still hasn't found one. I've heard reports that tusos are spawning on other island servers but I can't verify. I'm playing on a pve nitrado unofficial EU server on an Xbox one. I'm trying to kill the dragon so I can get the new tekgrams before our admin gets rid of the server and replaces it with scorched-earth. I'm not capable of getting the tekgrams on aberration yet, nor Extinction, and our fourth server is Ragnarok. the admin wants to make scorched a PVP so that won't be an option either later because I won't play PVP. oh and I can't get the admin to spawn in the trophies or the creatures because he's pretty inactive right now. Posted: 21 Mar 2019 03:00 PM PDT I logged in today to find that I'm getting black flickers all over the ground every few seconds. I have ALL of my shadows and bloom and EVERYTHING turned down to the lowest and it's still happening. Hopefully verifying my files will fix it, but if not, hopefully it gets fixed asap because it's annoying af. It's not a shadow flicker or anything. Posted: 21 Mar 2019 05:52 PM PDT The boss hologram dossiers I happened to defeat in between the homestead patch that broke everything and now will not unlock. I can see that they exist now in the UI, as of this most recent patch, but I see them as locked and killing the bosses again does not unlock them. So they seem to be locked and unable to be unlocked, because I'm guessing some part of the game thinks I've unlocked them but the explorer notes section of the game thinks I haven't, so I can't trigger them to unlock. Any idea on how to fix this? Edit: They unlock just fine in Single Player. Apparently this is a bug that's actually been around for 9 months or more, after doing more research into it. Wildcard just either isn't aware, hasn't been able to fix it, or doesn't care, I guess? [link] [comments] |
