Kibble Rework and Taming Effectiveness Posted: 16 Mar 2019 11:51 AM PDT We have a clustered Nitrado server with Ragnarok and Extinction. On both servers, we're having issues trying to tame using kibble. For example... We just tried to tame a 210 Griffin with Extraordinary Kibble, as suggested by Dododex. The taming effectiveness dropped fast and was only receiving about .7% on the tame bar. A few days ago, we were trying to tame a Rock Elemental with Extraordinary Kibble. Just like the Griffin, taming effectiveness dropped significantly and the tame bar was going up less than 1% per kibble eaten. We've had similar issues with the Scorpions and Thylas. However, we've not had any issues with Snow Owls, Therizinos, Managarmrs, Velonasaurs, or Gachas. Has anyone else had similar issues? Or know how to work around this easily? I know we can force tame if we have to, but this kinda puts a damper on the game play for us. Edited: this is Xbox with some people using Xbox and some using the CrossArk ability to play from Windows 10. [link] [comments]

[BUG] Major bug with Flexible Cables Posted: 16 Mar 2019 06:21 AM PDT Last week I tied all my generators together with flexible cables, then today I noticed they were all powered individually again. As it turns out the flexible cables had disappeared in every spot where a flexible cable was joining 2 regular cables. I noticed this in most bases but not all. Naturally I assumed this just happened after yesterdays patch, so I fixed all the wiring, then went to check out another base. When I came back, they had disappeared AGAIN. Flexible cables were so close to being perfect and I was really excited about them so I hope this issue can be resolved. Update 1: Update 2: All of our Ragnarok bases are experiencing the same issue. Enabling Single Player Cheats: Can't find passcode Posted: 16 Mar 2019 08:57 AM PDT can't figure out how to find the passscode for this cheat "enablecheats <passcode>". It says to go into the control panel but I have no idea how to get into that in Single Player and can't find a direct answer via google. I am trying to add xp. It worked once but has since not worked. Had trouble getting it to work even once. (PC) [link] [comments]
Legit question: can you use fabricated polymer to make a ghillie suit instead of organic polymer? Posted: 16 Mar 2019 10:20 AM PDT Was thinking of trying a pacifist run but was wondering if I could make the ghillie suit without organic polymer. I totally assumed the fabricated and organic stuff was interchangeable but I was surprised that I couldn't find any info on the wiki, it seems like Organic's the only way to go. Can anyone let me know since I don't go to all the effort of making standard polymer only to find out it's useless? Thanks! [link] [comments]

Question regarding S+ snapping Posted: 15 Mar 2019 10:10 PM PDT So I'm still having snapping issues with S+ even after the patch. Whenever I try and place something it'll snap correctly then place it in a completely different area. I've done the AllowIntegratedSPlusStructures=False, changed the mod boot priority, uninstalled and reinstalled the mod and I'm still having this issue. Any other suggestions on how to fix this? Perhaps any known mods that conflict with S+? [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 Mar 2019 09:39 PM PDT My wife and I have put in a lot of time on split screen and have had no issues seeing underwater. Since the patch, host/player 1 can see underwater. Player 2 can't. Anyone else have this bug? I saw it apparenrly used to be an issue that was... fixed? [link] [comments]

Posted: 15 Mar 2019 03:16 PM PDT After playing alot of ark since the extinction dlc was released i thought id finally give my 2 cents on how they should balance the new additions to the ark pvp scene. I only ever play official pvp smalltribes so im not sure how this would affect pve. Managarms: The current issue with manas are that they completely killed all forms for ground or air pvp. Whilst the new nerfs has done alot of good to make other dinos somewhat relevant again, you often get into "boring mana pvp" more often then i think anyone would like. My suggestion on how to bring manas down to a level where you could actully use other dinos reliably is to completely remove the damage from the ice breath, instead making it a slow debuff like the ice wyvern just with a longer ranger, more potent and better accuracy, and also maybe even bring back the dismount when frozen effect again. Manas would still be the kings of mobility, and be very useful in pvp but you would go for griffins, pts and wyverns for killing while manas would serve more as crowd control. Snow owls: Im not sure if people are aware of this yet but in my opinion snow owls are just as game breaking as manas when it comes to raiding. It is a common notion in ark that raiding is way too cheap and especially offline raiding. With the addition of snow owl to the raiding rooster one can without any cost heal up any soakers used to raid a base without almost any risk (with a good owl you can almost even mitigate turret damage when healing). My suggestion to fix this is add an effect that when healing friendly dinos they essentially get cryosickness during the freeze and take increased damage. A result of this would be that healing with the owl would be more risky and you would have to play around an already badly hurt dino taking increased damage. This would also bring Daedons back into the meta, or atleast make them relevant again because you could Daedon heal if its too risky freezing with the snow owl. Please lets have a dicussion below about these changes or what you guys think could be done to balance, or if they even need balancing. Also forgive any spelling mistakes, english isnt my first language and this was written on the phone :) Edit: formatting [link] [comments]
