- Loving the amount of light from the night time moon on Valguero. The small islands were pretty lit up and it didn't feel like night time. Beautiful.

| Wildcard removed what made Valguero unique Posted: 18 Jun 2019 08:58 PM PDT One of the big reasons Valguero was unique before it became an official map was the idea of having creatures from all the Arks. You could travel to the underground aberration zone and overcome radiation to steal rock drake eggs, sneak into the trench to steal wyvern eggs and even venture into the tundra for some element infused creatures. Now that it's an official map, the main aberration creatures are no where to be found. No rock drakes, no basilisks and no reapers. The aberration area is pointless. Extinction creatures for the most part are now missing. This removed one of the biggest appeals of Valguero. Diversity. I get the decision is most likely motivated by money and paid dlc but the map has always been advertised as having all the unique biomes from all the Arks. Wildcard has failed with expectations of Valguero. [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 19 Jun 2019 07:37 AM PDT Look, I'm playing in this in-between state of PVP and PVE, so Plant Z have a lot of uses, considering my application. They are fun to troll your friends with... they serve a purpose when griefing/fighting... they are easy to grow and feed to gachas... etc. But I pick up a stack and I'm encumbered? Seriously? They have been out since Abberation and all of a sudden you think they need a nerf? You created them. You knew what was going to happen. If you didn't want them to use as they were intended, you shouldn't have created them. Stop trying to fix what's not broken and just let it be. [link] [comments]  | ||

It has a lot of depth, cave systems, underground areas, big deep water trench with gigantic expansive underwater cave system. What this map offers landscape-wize rivals popular maps now like volcano. But its home to several unique visual bugs, and some not so unique visual bugs.
With the amount of depth that center offers, you could plug in some newer content from expansions and it wouldn't be congested whatsoever. The volcano island is pretty bare and could easily rival The Volcano map's "Volcano isle". With the center being a big water taming map, you could prompt another dinosaur TLC patch with water tames. We haven't gotten a TLC patch since March of 2018, and if any group of dinos is deserving of it, its water tames. Mosa, plesio, ichthy, electrophorus, and more could drastically use an update. Compared to land and air tames, water tames have been overshadowed. We could even use a new one, or at least a liopleurodon that's permanent and offers an oxygen buff like the dossier says it does. Am I the only one who wishes this? What else would you like to see get hit with a TLC patch? [link] [comments]  | ||

Our favorite dinos are the ones listed above and they're all missing from the new map Valguero even though they were stated to be there. Posted: 18 Jun 2019 11:21 PM PDT shouldn't they have the same lvl as wyvern and rockdrake eggs since u can't tame them? on our card they have max dino level and nothing above. if you make them egg steal only this is kind of a bummer. since U can not tame them and they are alrrady tiny squishy creatures. pls someone enlighten me. Posted: 19 Jun 2019 10:53 AM PDT Clunky and un-refined mechanics, very mediocre model and out right bad textures, looks nothing like the dossier depiction & it has no skin color-regions (wich means it only has colored feathers but always grey skin, unlike the dossier) but at least it's animations are...ok. p.s : the design shown in the dossier is amazing, but the model barely looks like it, specially when it comes to the feathers wich are awfully made, they look like they were done by a modder 3 weeks into the unreal engine. | Maximum level of dinos possible in singleplayer Posted: 19 Jun 2019 10:42 AM PDT So i kinda took a break for some time. Now i want to hop in back again. But i want to play singleplayer casually BUT hard! I want crazy high dino levels. Say like 1200 or someting. I have seen mods that can do it. But in the comments people are saying that this has some sort of problem regarding the stats (melee damage etc.) being reset when you tame dinos over a certain level. Also saw that this has to do with the way the game is coded. Can you change this with just a mod, or do you need to change stuff in the game files? Is there a way to do this in singleplayer? Because ive seen streamers and youtubers do it, for let's say annunaki genesis playthroughs. If there is no way to fix this, then what is the max level a creature can get before resetting the stats? Really hoping to get a reply from you guys. Hoping you can help me get my challenging ark back haha. [link] [comments]  | ||

I was out searching for cactus sap around 73.7 / 79.4 there were 4 Deinonychus running around like madmen but I couldn't kill one of them. Looking closer I realised it had a red name tag and was claimable. So I claimed it. Then another appeared. This time a lvl 130. WTF is going on, I'm playing single player but there are free to claim Deinonychus on my game? [link] [comments]  | ||
