It keeps being reset each time i log out of val my friend said his rag map was also erased (didn't check mine) i remember this happening on scorched, aberration, and extinction.. it seems like they somehow introduce the same bugs on every expansion is anyone else seeing this? know of a work around/fix? it eventually stopped doing it for some reason on the other maps in the past.. Anyone who has started the new map on an xbox dedi, or plans to, is screwed right now. All I personally want to know is will this get addressed soonish, or is this going to go on the back burner? Since the abyss runs beneath the land map, and not around it like most maps, it's hard to tell where things are down there. My tribe is based up in the Tundra Cave with water access. From my journies, it seems like all there is down there is an open circle chamber then a long tunnel that leads to the Chalk Cilff area. Is that really it? No caves, no fun stuff. I've only seen 1 squid and 1 mosa down there, and I've been down there a lot. I read a post from a month ago saying underwater spawns are wacky. What's everyone's impressions of it so far? | Can the meta be looked at please? Posted: 21 Jul 2019 05:08 PM PDT Just coming back after leaving for a long time (after scorched came out) and Jesus.. what the fuck happened. Nobody builds on the surface anymore because doing so is base suicide. You can make a 4 layer deep honeycombed base with 100 auto turrets and plant x's and what do they need to break it? A single stego loaded with veggie cakes and a good saddle.. or even better they just swing by extinction and grab a titan and literally nothing can stop them. Your only option is to build in a cave, yet any cave worth building in is already claimed, not to mention that also blocks off the caves themselves meaning the Tek tier is now out of bounds for any new players. So what the fuck are you supposed to do? Build on the surface and die, try to take a cave and die, build in a pearl cave and a fucking mana can just swim in and kill everything, there is literally no semi safe place for a new player. You can't even find out whose hitting you.. because everyones steam name is 123, and they transfer in from another server.. fuck you, then transfer back out. [link] [comments]  | ||

Im looking to do the boss fight fairly soon. Ill prolly go with 1 yuty and 19 theri's(21k hp and 600-650% melee) Im still looking for a saddle bp but lets assume 50 armor. Doable? with veggie cakes? Both are technically running and work when you're connected. I tested by just mashing enter game with the default goon. Can run around, punch trees, and get eaten by Troodons while naked (tested and confirmed!) Extinction has been running a few months and works fine. Valguero was just added, but connecting to the server always, ALWAYS boots me with the infuriating "idle too long!" message if I try customizing the character in any way. I don't get it. They have identical .ini settings (copied from Extinction). The server is three feet to my left.... (but I bet I still get responses telling me to "get better internet scrub huehuehue") I didn't have this issue on Extinction. I don't get it. Googling has turned up precisely zero hits with these symptoms, which is even weirder. I've come to assume any Wildcard bug is widespread and well-documented.... EDIT: FIXT Turns out if you do NOT set the commandline option "-EnableIdlePlayerKick", then players are kicked instantly when they go "idle," like ferinstance, on the toon creation screen. /eyeroll The solution was to set this commandline option, and in the GameUserSettings.ini made sure the timeout duration was specified, because despite the wiki saying the "default" is 3600, if you don't explicitly set it, it defaults to about 10 seconds. #WildCode [link] [comments]  | ||

Okay well I cannot really control if my pet on follow during LAG falls into someone's base when their base is inside a BIG FAT HOLE IN THE CLIFF. Is this going to tally against me? Will I get a ban some day because my pets fall off the cliff from my base into their base below? | A question about switching between official servers Posted: 21 Jul 2019 04:16 PM PDT So being a complete newbie, I have a couple of questions about switching maps on official pve. I'm sure they've been asked alot before (sorry) but I can't quite find the answers. So... Say I have all my dinos, base and charatcher on pve official Ragnarok. Can I just move that character (leaving base and dinos behind) to other pve official servers, and then back to my original one? Will my dinos and structures still be on the original Ragnarok map? If I already have a character (lvl3) on the one of the servers I go to, will it be erased and replaced by the new one? And either way, will any structures or dinos I tamed with the lvl3 character still be there? How high are the chances of losing a character when transfering? Is there a cooldown when switching servers with characters or dinos? When swapping servers, is it best to upload my character or pick travel to (different) server? That's all the questions. Rex Stats: 48k HP 2k dmg per bite without rider 325 Saddle (These have about 700-800 mutations. The server has boosted breeding speeds) Yuty: 40k HP 4k something Stam 125+ saddle 734% Pump Shotgun (We also have the upgrade station mod for the saddles) I got the pump shotty BP from the lava cave with the one artifact that doesn't have any hostile spawns EDIT: Should I swap out one rex for a daeodon?
