    I remember a funny story of when me and a few mates were starting fresh on official a couple months back. We had a pretty solid starter base after an hour of playing. The alphas were cocky bullies that regularly annoyed chat - they were hated by nearly everyone.

    They'd scout regularly for people setting up since they were one of those tribes that had a tribute system. They spotted our base and said we can stay on the server if we farm up 1k gunpowder a day for them. They'd also said that as we built up, the amount would increase dramatically.

    We were having none of it, but because cryos are popular, one of my mates had the grand idea of distracting the scout with questions and all. He was alone, so me and the rest of our tribe (4 total) made up bolas, clubs and tranq arrows.

    After I dm'd my mate who was distracting the scout, he agreed to the deal and asked him to make an area we could put the gp in. He got off his mount (a griffin) and headed to the place where he'd build it. My friends weren't dumb - we weren't going to charge him straight on. So the distractor asked the scout to write a note to make it official (dumb mistake on his part). Low and behold, he was writing it.

    It was our chance, I ran up and used a bola on him. He didn't stand a chance with 5 people tranqing him out. We knew we would get wiped so we decided to take him hostage to a hidden location and keep him knocked out for a while.

    Here's the good part. The inventory. We were borderline bobs at this stage so basically anything he'd have would've been a ridiculous upgrade.

    Well, he had a giga called 'pocket nuke' that had well over 500 melee. Heavily mutated.

    He had a mana who's name I won't say, with god tier stats. Heavily mutated.

    We were over the moon with this loot. But we knew we couldn't transfer them out safely for a while. We went on a journey to green ob which was left unprotected so people could do bosses and the alpha would hijack their element.

    My mate who was keeping the hostage messaged the admins that he was north of red ob with him. All online members of the alpha tribe went there to save a demi god (in their eyes) from a beach bob (lmao)

    We were able to get out of the server then with tames that <30's shouldn't have.

    I wanted to share this story and I thought this post was the perfect excuse to.
