    Hi Reddit!

    If you are looking for an Unofficial Server on PS4 to play I would highly recommend NOT to check out this following server -

    !FriendlyCluster - ORP.

    They ask for donations so you can have a say in the votes of what can be changed with the servers, which again isn't right.

    In their rules they specifically say you cannot mesh in any maps as, in the whole of Ark it's highly toxic and unfair and it results in being completely admin wiped.

    Me and my tribe mates found a base (funnily enough, one of the big tribes/longest tribes on that server), under the map on the Extinction map. You CANNOT build or get into this place on Official but on this server for some reason you could. Therefore this is meshing as it was LITERALLY under the map. We were getting killed from turrets from UNDERNEATH the bridge they were built at. We asked the admin to come over and have a look at it, and he said himself it was mesh so he admin wiped the base. He then was told about an entrance (which is blocked off on official). He then concluded that 'it wasn't a mesh'. This was an exploit of a bug in the server therefore should be banned/wiped from building there. Nope, because they are a donating tribe and they have been on there for a while, they are allowed to exploit these types of bugs. We were the alphas of this server before we even found out about this, so we wiped their extinction base but they have a massive Ragnarok base they could easily have exploited yet another bug and make them untouchable.

    The admin abuses his powers by killing tribe members and giving away our base/dinos to, FUNNILY ENOUGH, the meshers haha! We were allied with all of extinction members (about 16 people). That server has lost the whole of the extinction players from this.

    Just letting everyone on Reddit know, that if you are looking for an unofficial server DO NOT go to this one as you will waste your time and, potentially, money on this awful hosted server.

    This post may be censored but it's worth a shot.

    I was thinking of a great, democratic, freedom of speech way to push back at the Chinese on Ark. Why not get a file going for the paint feature in Ark where it automatically paints a metal billboard with the Hong Kong flag, perhaps even with "Free Hong Kong" written in Chinese over the flag and if you really wanted to go all out, a picture of Xi as Pooh Bear!

    If a Chinese tribe has trolled you, simply get the paint you need in your inventory, make a lot of metal signs, perhaps some pillars and a bed to keep timers up, grab popcorn and enjoy. They will have to see it EVERY time they leave their base. Angler jell ftw for lighting it up. It'll also how anyone from Hong Kong that feels like they are alone that they're anything but alone, millions around the world are in support of their cause for freedom.

    Gaming is supposed to be about fun but it's also a medium just like music or movies are to express our opinions. Right now whats happening is censorship across the board. While I can say US is a terrorist state without fearing any consequences, if I were to say something as simple as Free Hong Kong - I could be permamently banned from any given game that has connections to China (which is basically all because games aren't remotely successful unless they're partially owned by a Chinese corporation).

    This isn't a game, these are human beings seeing their freedoms slip away with their backs to the wall against an extremely powerful, oppressive communist regime that paints Mao, one of the greatest evils this world has ever known - as a hero. Meanwhile they're destroying graves, trying to erase part of their own people out of existence simply because the Communist Party disapproves of their religious beliefs. Systematic rape, millions in prison, extreme brainwashing, forced labour, the list goes on and on and on.

    You might say to yourself "for fuck sake who cares." If that's you, open your eyes and remember this are humans, these are their homes, this is reality and not a game. You can show the Chinese that play Ark that the world is with those in Hong Kong, not their President for Life pooh bear dictator.

    Kibble farm question

    I've spent a bit of time searching for an answer to this issue, but either people haven't encountered it (doubtful) or my google-fu is inadequate (likely).

    Playing on a private with a bunch of friends running modded on Valguero. Noone took it for a base, so I appropriated the big cave under the swamp castle for a kibble farm. Out of the way, easy to block, no spawns, few resources destroyed. I tamed up raptors for my first set, 10 females and 1 male, in a line abreast, tied to S+ hitching post with an oviraptor, set to wander, tied to post as well. Raptor eggs for days.

    Next set was scorps, similar setup, but in an H configuration with the male as the 'cross piece'. Got nothing for a while, despite visible trough/mateboost/egg boost. Moved the oviraptor a bit closer, still nothing. Started taming up ankys, brought them in and boom....scorp eggs for days, quants right there with raptors.

    Have 10+1 ankys in a cluster centered on the male, visible trough/mateboost/egg boost. Nothing for eggs. Moved the oviraptor - still nothing. Had a tribe mate with a breeding pair of oviraptors get me three fert eggs, hatched 5 oviraptors (one egg was triplets), so now each egg level has its own oviraptor, still no anky eggs.

    I'm not sure what to do. I need to figure this out because it happend with the scorps, but I managed to break them loose somehow and I don't want to tame up a bunch of argies for the next level and have the same issue occur.

    Relevant info: trough has raw meat, spoiled meat, and mejoberries in it. Eggs are harvested with the mod 'Egg and poop collector'.

    Ideas left to try: add veggies to the trough - not sure why this would work,but its an idea. release and re-capture the ankys - saw this in a recommendation in another, older thread somewhere.

    Any thoughts are welcome, and yes, I know I can just use dein eggs and just make exceptional, but thats not the way I want to do this.

    Tl;dr - anklyo kibble farm isn't working despite mateboost and a dedicated oviraptor.

    What’s the fastest way to beat the gamma Broodmother so that I can get a tek replicator?

    I want to ideally beat the gamma brood in about a week on a boosted server for everything but breeding . Instead of getting a couple good megatheriums or rexes and having to raise 19 babies would it be faster to tame a couple rexes, megas, and kentros breed/imprint them all just a couple times?

    Greetings Ark Reddit! I'm looking for good server or cluster to join, slightly boosted rates, friendly people etc and maybe a couple mods like S+ (not necessary). I got 1900 hours so if anyone wants an extra body or whatever suggest servers away :D

    It is incredible that a video game sub can still hit the front page almost 5 years after release

    Scrolling through the front page of Reddit I am often suprised by posts from this sub.

    Show me one other videogame sub that has this sort of audience 5 years after release.

    You guys are awesome, the game is awesome (Despite so many GLARING, OBVIOUS, PROBLEMS.)

    If we ever get a fully functioning Ark 2, I imagine it will destroy the human race, maybe that's why we have so many bugs built into the system?
